Nick van de Wall (better known as Afrojack) was born on September 9 1987 year in Spijkenisse (Netherlands). Music became his main love from early childhood. Already at the age of five he began to play the piano.

At the age of 11, Afrojack was introduced to the Fruity loops program. It was at this moment that his talent and love for music united and gave birth to the future producer in him. Having quickly become familiar with and appreciating all the delights of Fruity loops, Afrojack made it main program for his creativity - at least until today.

After graduating from school, Afrojack decides to devote himself to music. True, while he is unable to earn a living from it, he has to earn extra money in bars and clubs. It was there that he became acquainted with all the ins and outs of the Rotterdam club scene. And already at the age of 16, Afrojack first stood behind the turntables as a DJ in the Las Palmas club.

IN 2006 Afrojack goes to Crete, where he spends five months performing in every club that is ready to accept an aspiring DJ. His first mini-hit, F*ck Detroit, was born there. Upon returning to Holland, he became even more fired up and wrote track after track, trying his best to get someone to release them. And then, with the help of Sidney Samson and Laidback Luke, the track Afrojack - In Your Face appeared, which took #60 in the Dutch Top 100 and #3 in the Dutch Dance Top 30. Not bad for an 18-year-old!

WITH 2007 Years Nick begins active creativity as Afrojack, constantly striving to become the best. Track after track, remix after remix - and now he is opening his own label, Wall Recordings. If Afrojack is not performing on stage, it means he is working in the studio. There are no other options. And such hard work is beginning to pay off, including recognition from international stars: Josh Wink, Dave Clarke, Laidback Luke, Fedde Le Grand, Marco V and Benny Rodrigues.

IN 2008 Afrojack produces the smash hits Math and Do My Dance, which have been featured on the tracklists of some of the biggest names in the electronic scene, as well as topping the charts on some of the biggest Dutch radio stations. Since then, Afrojack has regularly been included in the lineups of the most important festivals, including Mystery Land, Tomorrowland, Extrema Outdoor and Sensation.

Growing fame brought in 2009 unprecedented fruits: Afrojack’s collaboration with David Guetta himself. Together the DJs created the track Toyfriend and recorded a remix of Sexy Bitch. Afrojack also played at F*** Me I'm Famous parties.

December 2010 Afrojack announced on his official website the release of the album “Lost & Found”. The album was released on December 22 2010 of the year.

Afrojack recently announced that he will be returning back home to Wynn Las Vegas for a 2018 residency. He will perform at XS, Intrigue and Encore Beach Club throughout the year with his official return was Jan 24 2018 at Intrigue

Starting 2018 with not wasting any time, Afrojack has released an array of diverse hits such as Bad Company with DirtCaps, Helium by teaming up again with David Guetta and Sia, and a remixe of U2’s Get Out Of Your Own Way

Afrojack’s next single will be Bed of Roses featuring Stanaj, slated for release next month.

Afrojack closed out 2017 with another club banger, called New Memories with DubVision. The collaboration will release via all digital platforms by on Friday, Dec 8. This is Afrojack’s 7th new track that he has released in a span of 3 months

In Nov 2017, Afrojack released his star-studded track called Dirty Sexy Money with David Guetta featuring Charli XCX and French Montana on all digital platforms. Popular music producer Afrojack began to gain fame at parties in clubs in his city and after a short time, he began to be recognized as a famous DJ around the world.

For Afrojack fans, it will be interesting to know that his height is 2m 8cm and his weight is 95kg. He was born on September 9, 1987 in the Netherlands and received the name Nick van de Wall. Nick's hometown is Spijkenisse, located in Holland.

Music has accompanied Nick since childhood. At the age of 5, Afrojack learns to play the piano and receives his first basics in the art of music. After some time, Nick notices the potential in computer programs, and at the age of 11, acquaintance with the Fruity loops program determines the future fate of the teenager. Climbing

The first club in which Nick acted as a disc jockey was called Las Palmas and gave the guy self-confidence. After that, he goes to the paradise for the club industry, namely the island of Crete. Here Afrojack gains experience as a DJ, trying to perform in every club where he will be accepted. This island also brought Nick the birth of his first hit called Fack Detroit.

After six months of staying in Crete, Afrojack returns to his homeland and, impressed by the birth of his first hit, begins to work hard on new tracks. His works come out one after another, but to open them to the whole world, sponsors are required. Already famous DJs in Holland come to the rescue - Sidney Samson and Laidback Luke, who release a new hit from Afrojack called - In Your Face.

At the peak of glory

2009 was a sparkling year for the DJ in terms of fame. The musician becomes a talented producer and begins working with real show business stars, such as Lady Gaga and Madonna. His tracks are constantly in the top 10 around the world, and fans of electronic music recognize the compositions by the first notes. As a result, Nick receives constant invitations to various festivals around the world.

A little personal

An active young DJ and producer meets screen star Paris Hilton and they begin an affair. After some time, Paris invites Nick to move in with her and Nick agrees. Everything was going as well as possible, but Afrojack is afraid of a serious relationship with its responsibilities, and prefers a free lifestyle.
