Oh, how I don’t like to write negative reviews, I really don’t like (and I practically don’t write). I believe that if the remedy did not suit me, then perhaps it is simply not my remedy, and on another person it will work as it should. Or sometimes I make excessive demands on the product in advance, so the result does not satisfy me.

Today, however, I decided to tell you about my negative experience of using Siberica Biberika Milk River-Siberian Shores baby shower gel.

I got the tool as a gift when I was expecting my second child. I was already familiar with Natura Siberica products for children, as I used some for my eldest son (Little series). Therefore, going to the hospital, I decided to take the above shower gel to use it myself, and for the child too.

Appearance, smell, texture

The shower gel is packaged in a white, almost opaque plastic bottle. If desired, you can still see how much money is left in the light.

A label with an abundance of various information is glued to almost the entire bottle: about the product, composition, main ingredients, etc.

On the front there is a cute matryoshka girl.

Also a characteristic feature of the products Siberica series Biberica is the presence of small nursery rhymes. Milota

For ease of use, the bottles are equipped with a dispenser that can be easily opened and then blocked back by turning left and right. This is very convenient in case you need to take shower gel on a trip or block it from an extremely curious child.

The dispenser works well, does not stick and does not spit, 4-5 clicks are needed for bathing.

The shower gel itself is of medium thickness, creamy, translucent, white (or pale beige) in color, slightly pearly.

Smell. I would like to draw your attention to this point. The aroma of the shower gel is sweet, creamy with fresh fruity notes, but there is one BUT ... The smell is very rich, languid and quite intrusive. It is completely incomprehensible to me why such a fragrance should be made in a product intended for babies. Looking ahead, I note that the composition does not indicate the origin of the perfume component of the product, but, in my opinion (scent), it does not smell of natural natural aromas. Therefore, for the fragrance, I definitely remove one apple.

Composition and impression

Compound(from the sites of online stores), at first (undemanding) glance, it is quite good:

The shower gel lathers well, giving a soft, delicate, creamy lather that gently cleanses the skin. However, it seems to be washed off not completely, a feeling of a thin film is created. But it is worth wiping the skin with a towel, it passes, the feeling of clean, moisturized skin remains.

I was unpleasantly surprised, but on the third day of my stay in the hospital, the skin on my legs and in the area of the forearm began to dry and peel off terribly. Assuming that the reason was a change of water, the only thing I could do in a hospital setting was to use body cream and coconut oil (I didn’t have anything else with me).

But what was my surprise when, even after a week of staying at home, the above problems did not go away, but rather, on the contrary, the skin began to peel off even more, sprinkled with flakes. In my entire almost thirty-year life, I have twice encountered similar phenomena on the skin - when Duru soap appeared on sale in the mid-90s and when Avon shower gel was presented to me 5-7 years ago.

Then I began to analyze my departure. Suspicions fell on the shower gel, and I decided to take a close look at its composition, checking with the help of the service. Here I encountered such a discrepancy - one composition is indicated on the packaging, and another in various online stores.

Whichever composition is correct, it contains such controversial ingredients as:

Cocamidopropyl Betaine

May cause allergic reactions and skin irritation. Approved for use in natural cosmetics.

APPLICATION:

Film former, moisture resistant ingredient, gel former, gives pearly shine, adds shine to hair.

DANGER:

Dries hair and skin, causes irritation when it comes into contact with damaged skin and eyes.

Well, and more perfume. The manufacturer does not indicate its origin, but, based on the intensity and complexity of the smell, I very much doubt its naturalness....

Then, assuming that the shower gel could be the cause of dry skin, I stopped using it. Gradually, dryness and peeling began to fade away, finally leaving me somewhere in a week.

Summing up my reasoning, I will highlight minuses baby shower gel Milk River - Siberian coast:

rich unnatural smell;
the presence of hazardous ingredients;
feeling of a certain thin film on wet skin (after drying it disappears);
causes dryness and flaking of the skin.

Having found 4 significant drawbacks for myself, I did not use the shower gel for its intended purpose - for bathing children. Therefore, I cannot recommend the Milk River - Siberian Shores baby shower gel (especially for babies).

In order not to throw away half the bottle of the product, I began to wash my sons' toys with gel - and that's how I ended it.
