The mouse is equipped with an additional red backlight on two elements - the translucent part of the scroll wheel and the logo at the bottom of the "back". No adjustments are provided. The backlight works constantly.

The main buttons are made on Omron D2FC-F-7N switches with an increased resource (20 million operations), which are deservedly considered one of the best.

The buttons work traditionally reliably and distinctly, although quite loudly. From the point of view of the applied effort, it can be said that in this case it is slightly higher than expected.

The scroll wheel is made of red translucent plastic and additionally has a "tire" made of black rubber with a characteristic pattern. It received a diameter of 24 mm and 24 ratchet steps. The latter is very soft and quiet. If you need precise movements for a fixed number of positions, you will have to train for a long time.

This model uses a TTC encoder, but it was not possible to determine the brand of the tact switch format wheel button (most likely, this is a model from Kailh). It is pressed with a noticeable effort and a deaf click.

Behind the wheel there is an additional service switch that changes the dpi setting in a cycle right during operation. Interestingly, this only works if the mouse is on the mouse pad. The current setting can be determined by the color of the indicator built into the button.

Two standard additional buttons are located at the top of the left side of the mouse. They received comfortable buttons with a clear separation of glossy plastic. They use Kailh switches. The actuation sound is a little muffled, the pressing force is above average.

For comfortable movement on the mat, two large stickers are used on the bottom of the mouse body. They, as often happens, cover the case mounting screws. If you use the device for a long time and you need to clean the mouse from dust while disassembling the case, after peeling off the legs, they may not get up so well without the help of a hair dryer.

Interestingly, the standard inscription "Warranty void if removed" is on the information sticker, which does not need to be removed for disassembly. The legs glide perfectly, at least while new, and then everything will depend on your usage scenario and the rug.

Connection to a computer is carried out through a standard USB cable, having a length of 1.8 m. To protect against damage, a flexible coupling is installed at the exit from the mouse, which is additionally slightly raised up. The cable received a black fabric braid interspersed with red. It is not very thick and moderately hard.

The USB connector is small and will not interfere with connections to neighboring ports. The cable inside the mouse is connected to the circuit board through a connector, but this is still not very important.

The electronic filling is assembled on two printed circuit boards. The installation is generally not bad, but the boards on the reverse side are not washed very carefully.

The model has four modifications SM/M/L/XL according to the geometric dimensions in millimeters: 290×240, 360×300, 450×400, 900×420. The SM version is currently not available on our market. The largest version was used to prepare the publication. It requires a lot of space on the table. You can even say that not every table is suitable. In this case (with the XL format) it is not so much about the mouse pad, but about closing the entire table. In fairness, we note that keyboards with rubber feet on this carpet are much more reliable than just on the table.

The mat has a soft rubber base and a fabric covering on top. Its thickness is about four millimeters. Weight (in our version) - more than 900 g. The rubber is quite dense, but flexible. Its large weight, however, does not ensure a snug fit immediately after a long transport in a folded state. You need to let the carpet rest a bit.

There is nothing particularly interesting in the design here. The working surface is completely black. A large brand logo is applied in the lower right corner in red and gray colors. Everything looks quite conservative. But many gaming input devices will clearly stand out against this background.

The outline uses "non-fading edges with smooth stitching". They look quite durable. The thread color is also black. In height, this part does not protrude relative to the main surface, which is correct.

The lower part of the carpet is perhaps even more interesting. The main rubber sheet has a “rough” texture, into which a braided mesh of black threads is “soldered”. It looks great and, more importantly, provides excellent stability on the table. In one of the bottom corners there is the Kingston logo and the model number.

For the format used, a fabric cover is quite appropriate. It provides a comfortable glide of the mouse and gives its sensor the ability to work stably. Of course, it is more prone to contamination and harder to clean, but this technology has been used for a very long time and has its fans. We also note that the thick layer of soft rubber and fabric are also useful in terms of comfortable hand placement.

At the time of preparation of the article, the cost of the rug in the XL version in our market was about 2000 rubles. Version L was offered for 1,200 rubles, and M for 600 rubles.

To be honest, there is not much to write about the model in question in this section. Diagnosis

I liked the mouse in general. If we discard the stories about professional players and so on, we have before us a soundly, carefully, high-quality and no-frills created product. The design is universal and convenient, the materials are practical, the hardware filling does not cause significant complaints.
