The best smartphones according to antutu. AnTuTu presents the ranking of the most powerful smartphones

The AnTuTu test software development team has published the traditional annual rating of the most productive smartphones. In fact, the AnTuTu team has compiled three ratings: one absolute for all platforms and another separately for Android smartphones and iOS devices.

The performance score for each model is the average of at least 2,000 devices throughout 2016 (devices with fewer than 2,000 tested were not included).

So, the first place with 181316 points in the overall ranking was taken by the smartphone Apple iPhone 7 Plus, followed by the iPhone 7 with 172001 points. Both smartphones use the new A10 Fusion SoC.

The top three most productive smartphones in 2016 is closed by the OnePlus 3T Android smartphone, built on the SoC Snapdragon 821. Its result is 163,013 points. The fourth and fifth places are occupied by LeEco Le Pro3 and Moto Z. They are followed by OnePlus 3, Xiaomi Mi 5s, ASUS Zenfone 3, Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus and ZTE AXON 7, which closes the top ten most productive smartphones of 2016 according to AnTuTu.

Interestingly, there is no one in the top 10 Samsung smartphone, although according to ITC tests, the flagship S7 edge in everyday use shows an excellent level of performance. At the same time, the same ZTE AXON 7, which got into the top, in real work showed himself not from the best side.

The most productive smartphone on Android, AnTuTu developers call, of course, the owner of the third place in the overall standings - the OnePlus 3T model. It is followed in the same order by all the above models with a shift of two positions up, since Apple smartphones are not taken into account here.

That is, ZTE AXON in the ranking of the top 10 most productive Android smartphones takes eighth place. Ninth and tenth positions Google smartphones Pixel XL and Google Pixel. The results of each model are shown in the graph above.

SoC-based A9X became the leader in the ranking of iOS devices Apple tablet iPad Pro 12.9” with an average score of 194838 points. The iPhone 7 Plus is second, and the tablet is third. Apple iPad Pro 9.7". The fourth is the youngest model of the current generation iPhone 7. It is followed by a fairly large margin for the iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6s and iPhone SE. iPads Air 2, iPad mini 4 and iPhone smartphone 6 Plus round out the top ten.

The list of the most powerful devices was topped by two autumn new Apple, and the first place was taken by the iPhone 7 Plus with a record score of 181,316 points. The new generation of Android flagships has a chance to push it, but this will happen later.

Who is the most powerful in the world?

Closest to Apple devices OnePlus 3T crept up with an average result of 163,013 "parrots", followed by the Chinese device LeEco Le Pro 3 with similar characteristics (Snapdragon 821 and 6 GB random access memory). The previous "flagship killer" OnePlus 3 gave way to fifth place Moto Z, which has only 4 GB of RAM, but almost untouched by Android 7.0 Nougat. As you can see, manufacturers are not wasting time optimizing the system.

Xiaomi Mi 5s scored 145,093 points and outperformed its older brother Mi 5s Plus, despite the difference in RAM and lower processor frequency. With what it is connected - it is not known. The ranking also includes ASUS ZenFone 3 and ZTE Axon 7. A separate list for Android smartphones includes Google Pixel and Pixel XL on the same Snapdragon 821 processor, but with 4 GB of RAM. Control over hardware and software devices clearly benefited the search giant. Apparently, AnTuTu decided not to include gadgets for Chinese market, such as the Vivo Xplay 6 and the more exotic Smartisan M1 and M1L.

For a snack - the performance rating of iOS devices. The 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro leads the way here. Only he managed to overcome the milestone of 190,000 points in AnTuTu. iPhone 7 Plus has moved to second place, and iPad Pro 9.7 closes the top three. The iPhone 7 (number four) is followed by models from previous generations.

AnTuTu indicates the average results without taking into account all kinds of cheats, in addition, the models from the list must be tested at least 2000 times. The rating includes mainly devices from the second half of 2016. Korean Samsung flagships The Galaxy S7 / S7 edge had almost no chance, and the Galaxy Note 7, for obvious reasons, failed to take over.

Antutu Benchmark is one of the most popular smartphone testing apps. Appeared on the market in 2011 and has over 100 million users in 7 years. Every month, the company publishes a rating based on user tests, the data obtained is averaged. To get a smartphone in the rating, at least 1000 pieces of one model must be tested.

How the total score is calculated

The smartphone is assigned a final score based on the scores for each test it performs. The results for each test will be useful for comparing important parameters, such as comparing 3D test data. GPU when choosing a gaming smartphone.

Which test scores are included in the final score?

  • CPU- the processor is tested in single-threaded and multi-threaded mode.
  • GPU- GPU is tested in 3D tests. AT latest version Antutu v7 has added two new 3D scenes. On which you can clearly observe the superiority of high-performance chips over mid-range and low-end chips. This is expressed in better detail, realism and the presence of shadows.
  • UX- this section is responsible for testing the smartphone in everyday tasks. In the latest version, scenes have been added that simulate scrolling through the news in the application, browsing the web and scanning QR codes.
  • M.E.M.- The application tests the RAM and ROM.

The first places in the ranking are occupied by smartphones with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, announced at the beginning of 2019. Also in the top 10 are Samsung models with the Samsung Exynos 9820 processor and Huawei smartphones with the Huawei Kirin 980 processor.
