Registration on Depositphotos is quite simple, especially since everything is in Russian. Previously, some comrades inadvertently managed to register as buyers and not as image providers, but in June 2014, microstock merged the accounts of suppliers and buyers, so everything became even easier :)

In principle, how to fill in should be clear.

In chapter "User information" fill in the nickname and password that will be used to log into your account. Think of a password that is more authentic and more difficult. Ideally, it should be changed periodically afterwards. In the third field, confirm the password again. The last field is the address. Email. As for email: it would be nice if it was a box specially set up for working with microstocks and not used for anything else.

In chapter "Contact Information" we write the first and last name (just like in the document that you will upload), fill in the address (in this line - only the street, house and apartment), city, region, index, select the country in the drop-down list. We write a phone.

Click "Register an account" and go to a page where we are asked to upload exam files and an identity document. If you are not yet ready for the exam, then this is the time to stop and prepare.

How to pass the exam

For the exam, you will need to submit five vector works or five photographs. Here it is in this form:

Do not relax here: even if you comply with all these requirements, but in your vector illustration there is an open path or some other technical flaw (which, note, not a word is said on this page), the exam will be overwhelmed.

So take your five best illustrations, cook as the article says, zip them up, and go to the very page that asks you to upload your sample files and an ID document:

Below you add an identity document (passport or foreign passport).

Upon successful completion of the exam, your account status will change to "Active", and the illustrations sent to the exam will be in the section "Unfinished".
By going there, you can fill in all the necessary data for illustrations and send them for re-checking already for sale.

If you have already completed keywords, title and description in the metadata of the file before uploading (in Photoshop, for example), then now you just have to select categories and send the file for review:

On the right, you expose the first and second categories. Put checkmarks above the pictures. Press "Send Selected Files".

If you have not filled in anything yet, then write down the titles, descriptions and keywords in English.

After a few days, your files from the folder "Pending" move to folder "On sale".

How to upload images for sale

After that, you can upload other images for sale. To do this, in your account, go to the tab "For supplier" and click on the inscription "File Downloader".

Here in this window we add zip-archives with our new works (vector + jpg-preview to it) either by simply dragging them, or using the button "Add Files".

A list of your archives ready to be loaded will appear in the window. We put a tick. Click "Download files".

Then you can watch the green stripes or move away from the computer and give yourself a "parumum" break, which is very useful sometimes. The length of the break will depend on the number of downloaded files and the speed of the Internet connection.

When the files are uploaded, their status will change: the orange circle will change to green.
