Beeline fast 5 inch smartphone with 4G. Beeline fast smartphone - reviews and characteristics overview

Budget mobile devices with LTE support are no longer considered a miracle. They even began to produce them mobile operators. In general, this article describes the Beeline Fast smartphone - reviews of the model and its characteristics.

Equipment

The manufacturer is not too generous and magnanimous - the white cardboard box contains a meager set of items: Charger, user manual, smartphone itself and data cable. The headset is not included in the package, and the power supply is only 1A, so charging will take quite a long time (about 3 hours) unless you urgently purchase something more powerful.

There is nothing unique in the appearance of the smartphone, so it can easily get lost in the mass of other budget devices. The Beeline Fast phone is relatively small and light. The rounded corners make the device neat in appearance, comfortable to hold, and it comes in three colors: gold, silver and black.

Assembly and controls

The assembly is of high quality: all parts are in close contact, stability is not compromised and no extraneous sounds. Although the reviews left about the Beeline Fast phone note a slight play in the control buttons.

Under the back cover there is a removable battery. The camera and speaker are also located there. On the top edge there is a headphone jack, and on the opposite side there is a microphone and a hole for micro-usb. The buttons for starting the smartphone and changing the volume level are made in the color of the case and are located on the right and left sides, respectively.

Strangely, the three hardware buttons under the large screen are not backlit. They are not even white, but a mirror shade, so it will be difficult to notice them in the dark. But there is an event indicator, so you don’t have to constantly turn on the screen to check for missed calls and messages.

Screen

The Beeline Fast smartphone is equipped with a weak 5-inch display with a resolution of only 854x480 pixels. Rich colors and a good matrix for a budget model save the day. And they are spoiled by all the small viewing angles and an insufficient supply of brightness, which is critically lacking in bright sunlight.

There is also Mira Vision technology, which adjusts the image on the screen based on the environment. Of course, you shouldn’t expect miracles, but it’s still nice. The sensor is quite responsive and responds well to touches, which is confirmed by the reviews left about the Beeline Fast smartphone.

Cameras

The smartphone has two cameras. The main module (5MP) has a flash and autofocus. The problem is that the flash is too weak to do nice photos in poor lighting and autofocus is too slow. So the slightest movement during shooting can instantly ruin the photo. Of the settings, there are only the most standard ones: panorama, HDR and video shooting.

The front camera takes pretty good pictures for its resolution (2MP). and color rendition correspond to the level of the device itself. The capture angle is small, so for a group photo you will have to use a selfie stick.

"Beeline Fast": characteristics

The smartphone runs on a 4-core MediaTek processor, Mali T720 graphics accelerator, 1 GB of RAM and Android 5.1 OS. Internal memory 8 GB, but only half of them will be free. A good decision It became that it can be increased to 32 GB.

Despite the weak characteristics, the device works quite quickly. At least applications and folders open in a split second. Although in this regard there are still some complaints about the Beeline Fast smartphone. Reviews left by users often indicate severe overheating of the device when working with resource-intensive applications. Not everything is going smoothly with games either. They will, of course, start, but not all will function on maximum settings.

The smartphone copes with other multimedia tasks much better - no artifacts or sound delays were noticed when watching video. And the browser is quite fast, zooming and scrolling pages work smoothly, and pages open quickly.

Wireless interfaces

The smartphone was awarded the usual set of wireless functions: bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, high-speed connection and GPS. And it is worth noting that each technology works stably. Indeed, the phone supports the 4G network well; switching to 3G occurs extremely rarely. It’s a pity that there is no indicator showing data transfer, so sometimes it’s difficult to understand whether there’s a connection problem or the page isn’t loading well. There are no complaints about the highly sensitive GPS module, which instantly picks up satellite signals.

The big surprise for many will be the FM receiver. True, he wants to see a headset or headphones as an antenna, for which there was no place in the package.

Autonomy

The Beeline Fast smartphone supports accumulator battery, whose capacity is 2200 mAh. In theory, this should be enough for a long time, because the low specifications of the smartphone and the low-resolution display will not require much energy. In reality, everything is not so simple.

For example, to watch a video in high resolution the user has about 8 hours. The time allocated for games is half that - about 4 hours. A everyday use device - browsing social networks, briefly listening to music and watching videos - will allow the smartphone to last until the next day.

Conclusion

It is worth noting right away that the Beeline company slightly overestimated the value of its device, deciding that its cost was about 6,000 rubles. In fact, it has only two advantages - Android Lollipop 5.1 and a 4G connection. The rest leaves much to be desired. Large display with indecently low resolution, small volume random access memory, weak “filling” sometimes spoils the impression of using the device too much. Reviews often testify to this, and many users say that for that kind of money you can now choose a more fundamental model.

Tele2 burst into the capital's market exactly three years ago. During this time, the operator managed to become one of the leading suppliers mobile communications and Internet in the Moscow region. Tele2 traditionally captivates subscribers not only with low prices, but also with large-scale network coverage, which can be reached even in the subway. “360” tells how the operator won the trust of Muscovites.

Three years ago I literally woke up Moscow new operator communications. Tele2 organized an unusual presentation in October 2015, which Muscovites remembered for a long time. The idea of “Wake up Moscow!” was launched as the main theme of the show. In the press conference room, right on the stage, a gigantic structure was built, in the middle of which there was a bed with a sleeping girl.

According to the operator's idea, the girl symbolized Moscow, which was tormented by nightmares. She dreamed about expensive cellular tariffs, and she couldn’t wake up. However, the miracle cure - the first call on the Tele2 network in Moscow - worked. Moscow woke up, stretched, smiled, got out of bed and continued to watch the launch ceremony of the Tele2 network, no longer in a dream, but in reality.

Such a powerful PR move, coupled with advantageous offers allowed Tele2 to enter the top of the best mobile operators in the same year. The company was among the leaders in terms of communication quality in the capital, only slightly behind MegaFon, according to the results of a study by the Telecom Daily agency from December 2015. However, Tele2 managed to move its competitor in the ranking of the most profitable roaming operators by providing its subscribers with economical tariffs when traveling abroad.

Cheaper only in Tyumen

In 2016, Moscow for the first time entered the top three Russian regions with the cheapest mobile communications, according to the results of a study by the analytical agency Content Review. The capital moved from eighth to second place in the ranking of mobile communications availability in Russia. Communications were cheaper than in Moscow only in the Tyumen region.

This happened a year after Tele2 entered the market. The operator provided its subscribers with some of the most favorable tariffs, which increased competition in the segment and had a positive impact on prices for mobile communications. For example, Tele2 offered subscribers the “Orange” tariff, under which customers did not pay a monthly fee subscription fee, and the cost per minute was one ruble. Before this, no operator had offered such conditions.

Meanwhile, Tele2 remains an innovator in the market. The operator was the first to offer its customers the opportunity to exchange call minutes for Internet traffic, and also introduced the function of transferring unused minutes, SMS and gigabytes to the next month. Later, other players in the mobile communications market followed the example of Tele2.

In honor of his birthday, the operator presented new tariff"Mine is unlimited." In the Moscow region, users unlimited internet for 500 rubles per month you get a package of 500 minutes and 50 SMS. Customers also have access to unlimited calls on the Tele2 network throughout Russia, which do not consume the basic package of minutes. Subscribers of the tariff have an “SOS package” - it keeps customers access to the most important services even when zero balance accounts. In this situation, subscribers can use WhatsApp messenger and Yandex navigation applications. No other operator on the market provides such conditions.

Speed at the limit

In addition to the favorable tariff line, the operator is working on the level of services provided. The quality of communication and speed of mobile Internet were confirmed by numerous studies by Roskomnadzor and independent agencies.

Separately, it is worth noting the LTE-450 communication standard, which provides a certain advantage to subscribers. Today Tele2 is the only operator in Russia that has frequencies of 450 MHz. The standard provides high-quality coverage and high data transfer rates even in areas where there is no stable GSM signal. And the range of action base station LTE-450 is five to six times more than other range networks.

This communication standard is already used by various emergency services, providing reliable communication. For example, during the World Cup, the operator's network was used by ambulance crews and rescuers. Tele2 also connected 250 medical and obstetric centers to the unified information network and ensured their connection with the unified information network of the Moscow Region Ministry of Health. Thus, hundreds of thousands of residents of the Moscow region gained access to telemedicine technologies. Now they can consult remotely with any doctor in real time.

In addition, the company is developing its network based on “big data”, which allows it to provide its customers with Internet access in places that have traditionally not received the network. Thus, Tele2 was the first to cover all Moscow metro stations with a 4G network.

Back in 2017, Roskomnadzor recognized Tele2 as the leader in LTE in the metro. Today we have provided 100% coverage of the 4G network at all stations and crossings of the metro, MCC and monorail, which will allow subscribers to stay connected while traveling around the city

The operator not only allows Muscovites to always stay in touch, but also gives its subscribers a number of privileges. This year Tele2 decided to please its customers with movie passes. According to the promotion, Tele2 subscribers will be able to buy movie tickets with a 20% discount in 25 cinemas of the joint network “Formula Kino” and “Cinema Park” in Moscow and the Moscow region.

Tele2 not only provides high-quality mobile service to its subscribers, but also develops unique partnership projects with market leaders. For Muscovites, this is not only an opportunity to save on movie tickets, but also a great chance to get to know cinema better and not miss a single new release.

Anton KondratovCommercial Director of Tele2 Moscow

In addition, the operator has been organizing film shows in the Moscow region for the second year in a row. The operator's summer online cinemas operated in 2017 and 2018, for two months, in eight cities near Moscow. During this time, more than 70 thousand people watched the Tele2 movie.

In addition to cinema, the operator provides subscribers with all sorts of privileges, for example, priority free access during the “Night at the Museum”, closed excursions to MAAM, discos and open-air lectures in the online park, free bicycle taxis in the center of Moscow and other pleasant bonuses that improve the quality lives of citizens.

All Tele2’s actions in the capital’s market indicate its isolation from the players “ big three", tariff offers that have no analogues in the industry attract subscribers and create an alternative. In any case, the subscriber benefits from competition in this area, receiving favorable rates, high-quality communication and additional bonuses from non-operator services.

Big and bright screen 5 inches, excellent work in 4G and price 6,490 rubles. It's a pity that there is no slot for a second SIM card. There are also plenty of shortcomings, but in this price segment these are rather shortcomings. The machine is fully functional and does not cause irritation.

The market for operator branded devices lives its own separate life, and it lives very well. “Flagships” are well-known and hotly discussed, the technical perfection fascinates, and saliva drips onto the keys, but the mass product takes its toll on mass production, forgive the tautology. It’s like in public catering: four occupied tables in an expensive restaurant and a ten-minute line for each of the four cashiers at McDonald’s. In this sense, the name “Beeline Fast” amused by its association with the term “fast food”; there is something fair in this. Although "Beeline Fast" is no longer "fast food" in price.

The smartphone has been on sale since last fall, online store page. I was interested in the device because of the “” promotion; when purchasing this “Fast” they gave a 3G smartphone as a gift. I asked for the device to be tested; it’s still an interesting type of smartphone product.

So, before us is one of the representatives of the “budget+” category. Really budget smartphones are now priced at up to three thousand rubles, ideally around two thousand. At all cheap smartphones are also in great demand, but this is a different “weight category” and the topic of another review.

Dot the i's

The traditional section is especially for those who want to immediately understand whether it makes sense to read the review to the end. The “technical specifications” section does not reflect individual characteristics, which can greatly affect the convenience and comfort of the user.

4G works great, connects to the network quickly and stays on it confidently. There are no complaints about the transfer speed. Card slot microSD memory present. One SIM card (miniSIM, regular). The smartphone is locked to Beeline, but you can ask for an unlock code at the salon, they will give it for free.

The AnTuTu benchmark assigned the device 23,275 virtual “parrots”. For this class it’s very good, but heavy games at maximum settings will not work. There is a 5 GHz Wi-Fi band, which is unusual for an inexpensive smartphone.

A resolution of 854 x 480 with a pixel density of less than 200 ppi is not enough for comfortable work; blurred fonts and fine lines are noticeable to the eye. A resolution of 720 x 1080 would be more appropriate. What helps the screen is that the IPS matrix is bright, color reproduction is good and no distortion occurs when turning. The brightness reserve is small, and in sunny weather it may not be enough. There is automatic brightness adjustment, but in the evening indoors you have to reduce the brightness manually.

The main camera is expectedly “no good”, autofocus is slow. In poor lighting, pictures are often blurred. But there are no obvious defects in color rendition, including when shooting indoors. On the plus side - front-camera 2 MP, which takes good pictures. As a bonus, there is an LED event indicator.

There are no complaints about the voice speaker and microphone. The multimedia speaker is not the best, with low frequencies Badly. The ringer volume seemed insufficient to me, but not critical. There is no headset included, the 3.5 mm jack is standard. The removable 2,200 mAh battery reliably handles a full day of normal load.

For its 5-inch screen, the smartphone is thin and does not look bulky. Considering its size, the smartphone is lightweight, only 125 g. Colors are black, silver or gold with a slightly pinkish tint. It is assembled with high quality, the matte back (soft-touch) is pleasant to the touch and does not slip in your hands.

Positioning

The lack of a second SIM card is sad, and the price is a bit high even by today’s standards. As for the target audience, it is different. Three color options (black, silver, gold) expand the segment of potential consumers; many modern girls love big screens. At first glance, it is a full-fledged, but not prohibitively expensive smartphone with an almost complete set of modern technologies. Including LTE and even 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Those who consider anything larger than 4.5 inches to be “shovels” and those who are willing to pay for the brand and/or characteristics fall out of the segment of potential consumers. And also those who, on the contrary, are not ready to pay and take the cheapest according to the principle “if only for a smartphone.”

It’s interesting that operators continue to want extra money for LTE. Not long ago I wrote that 4G support is no longer a “premium” feature, and the operators themselves are interested in reducing the load on 3G networks. Looks like I was in a hurry. If we go to the page with the Beeline Pro 3 smartphone, we will see a device with very similar parameters and characteristics. One of the few differences is no LTE, and the price tag is different, 4,990 instead of 6,490 for Beeline Fast. Additional one and a half thousand rubles. only for 4G support is still inhumane. And I recently saw on the Beeline Fast page a crossed out price tag of 6,490 and a new one of 4,990. I don’t know whether they made a mistake, or a short promotion, or changed their mind about selling at 4,990. But a peculiar picture is drawn: those who thoughtfully study the parameters will want for six and a half thousand something better (for example, a higher screen resolution), and those choosing by screen size will buy “the same thing,” but cheaper.

Equipment and design

Standard set: smartphone, connecting cable, user manual and charger with an output current of 1 A. I hope there is a 2 A charger in the household; with a standard 1 A, the smartphone is fully charged in almost three and a half hours. It’s a pity that we saved on the headset; with other smartphones, I read about the hassle of finding a suitable one.

I already wrote about the small thickness and weight. The device has classically rounded corners, looks neat and fits well in the hand. I’ve already written about the choice of colors (black, silver, gold), but there’s nothing more to write about the design.

Design Features

There are no questions about the assembly. Everything is tight, without cracks, does not move, does not crunch in your hands. The back cover is not pressed through. I read from someone about a slight play in the buttons, but I didn’t notice this on my device. The layout is standard, a monoblock with a tray-shaped back cover.

There are many latches around the perimeter of the lid, and the appearance of any backlash in the future is unlikely. The battery is removable, the camera eye practically does not protrude beyond the dimensions. Nearby is a second microphone. Multimedia speaker grille (holes in back cover) turned out to be unsuccessful. The holes are not on the fold, but they also did not provide protrusions in the cover to provide clearance. Accordingly, when the phone is lying even on a flat surface, the sound is noticeably muffled.

The headphone jack is on the top edge, and the microUSB jack and voice microphone are on the bottom. By the way, pay attention to the photo above: even at such an extreme viewing angle, the colors are not inverted or distorted. In this sense, the IPS screen is good.

The buttons match the color of the case and protrude perfectly. The placement is usual, the power button is on the right side, the volume rocker is on the left.

The travel of the buttons is short and clear, they are easy to feel. Although we all grumble about the same and uninteresting smartphones from Chinese manufacturers of inexpensive hardware, there are benefits from such unification. Production technologies have long been developed, and now you rarely see even the most budget smartphone with obvious design flaws or assembly defects.

All three control buttons are software, they saved on the backlight, it is not there. It's uncomfortable in the dark at first. Moreover, instead of white paint, the symbols are mirrored. In the light at a certain angle they shine brightly, but in the dark they are not visible at all. But there is an LED event indicator that helps save battery power. Think about how many times a day you turn on your screen just to check if you missed something important.

Display

The feelings are ambivalent. The resolution of 854 x 480 with a pixel density of 196 ppi is not exciting, I would like more. On the other hand, the matrix itself is excellent, the colors are saturated, the white balance is fine even with default settings.

If something doesn’t suit you, MiraVision technology will allow you to customize everything to your taste. There are no miracles, and don’t count on magical transformations, but many settings are useful. And the color temperature can be set perfectly. There is some irony in the fact that the color rendering of the IPS matrix is not satisfactory even without any additional tricks.

A photograph (namely a photo, not a screenshot) of a section of the display gives an idea of what you will actually see during use. Everything always looks perfect in screenshots, so it’s better to look at the photo.

The screen is responsive and responds well to touches. But it gets dirty quickly, and I'm not sure about the presence of an oleophobic coating. Or it is there, but of poor quality.

Cameras

There are two cameras: a main 5 MP with autofocus and a front 2 MP. There is a flash (one LED), but it is weak, and there is almost no use from it. From a distance of more than 0.75 meters, a phone with a flash will work at such a shutter speed that the photo will still be blurred, see below for more on this. Unless you take photographs of documents in poor lighting.

A traditional “advertising” photo of a playground in good lighting. The colors are natural, without software-generated “acidity”. The pictures clearly lack sharpness; they are good enough for posting on social networks. The white balance is slightly shifted towards green, but not very critical.

Close-up objects and in good lighting turn out decently. There is autofocus, although it is slow. The settings provide different scenarios and a choice of shooting conditions, but this is all “from the evil one”, only a few enthusiasts use it. I always proceed from how the photomodule performs in the “Auto” mode.

What really pleased me was the correct color rendition under different types of artificial lighting. You can shoot indoors, but the light must be bright enough.

At first I couldn’t understand why I ended up with so many out-of-focus and even very blurry photographs in seemingly good lighting conditions. I dug into the EXIF information of the files and understood. In good lighting (for example, a supermarket trading floor), the device operates at a shutter speed of 1/15 - 1/25 seconds, which is a lot for handheld photography. It is believed that with some experience you can shoot at shutter speeds up to 1/30. As the lighting worsens, the device moves to shutter speeds of 1/8 and even 1/5 s, and this is probably a blurry frame. In general, Auto mode is best for shooting in really good lighting.

The familiar "purple spot" effect in the center of the frame. Not very pronounced, but there. Several years ago I saw it on many smartphones, but now I rarely see it. It seems to me that this was invented many years ago on purpose: in the center of the photo there is most often a face, which with such “spot color correction” looks better. Look at the dog's face and front part of the body, a small dose of purple clearly did him good.

Finally, about filming documents, also a common scenario. The A4 format, even with a not very large font, is readable normally, but count on Good work OCR is not worth it. There are no problems with photographing advertisements.

Sample images from the 2 MP front camera. Quite decent, even good for two megapixels. Color rendition and white balance are fine. The capture angle is normal, and for group shots you can’t do without a “selfie stick”. It’s a phenomenon that I’ve observed more than once: the 2 MP front camera takes consistently good photos. Despite the fact that the 5 MP main camera is unpredictable, on one of the inexpensive smartphones the main camera took pictures clearly worse than the front one.

Benchmarking, sensors and all that stuff

For relatively inexpensive smartphones it’s not very interesting, you won’t see anything unexpected, but still.

AnTuTu rating in comparison with flagship leaders, as well as General characteristics devices. It should be noted that budget smartphones almost never cross the border of 20,000 virtual “parrots,” so our “Beeline Fast” looks good in this sense. This is confirmed by the sensations from interacting with the device: everything in the interface is quite fast and without obvious “slowdowns”.

Processor, memory and display according to AnTuTu. The specified pixel density (240 ppi) is very optimistic, but far from reality. In fact, taking into account the screen diagonal of 5 inches, this is 196 ppi.

Operating system data and sensors present. I was amused by the line “The heartbeat is not supported”, I remembered a bearded joke about the heart: “And I came to you today without knocking!”

I've read quite a few complaints about software from those who bought a smartphone in the fall. Now, within three days after activation, two software updates arrive in turn. It looks like the bugs have been fixed. What was noticed was the correction of the impossibility of transferring programs to an SD card and the “finishing” of localization (Russian language was forgotten in the names of some directories), but there is probably a lot more. Don’t ignore it, the updates go smoothly, and no crashes were noticed after them.

Impressions from work

Most of the features (including voice) have already been described above, let's talk about data transfer. Moreover, they ask us for significant additional money for 4G happiness. Is it fair to ask, and do you and I need all this? After all, according to the results of “synthetic” tests, the data transfer speed in 3G is not much worse.

The question is ambiguous. Money, of course, is a pity, but with more or less active use mobile internet the result is obvious: a 4G connection is qualitatively better in many respects. And, more importantly, 4G “feels” noticeably better too. A significant difference from 3G is the short response time (ping), which is especially important for dynamic online games. Upload speed (data transfer “up”) is important for those who work with files in the cloud; high transfer speeds in 4G are especially noticeable for those who send their photos to an external server or store them in the cloud.

And further. When dealing with data transfer, you've probably noticed that in places with poor signal levels, 3G transmission may stop, although the phone can see the network. In 4G, data is transmitted even at a signal level of -115-119 dbm. In 3G, at levels closer to -95 dbm, you can no longer hope for more or less stable transmission.

As for data reception (downstream transmission), here everything largely depends on the technology and the available frequency band of a particular operator in a particular region. But the user terminal itself is also important. "Beeline Fast" with its cat.4 (up to 150 Mbit/s) overclocks well where the network allows it.

Among other features. The smartphone holds on to the 4G network confidently and, as they say, “until the last.” Switches from 3G to 4G quickly. For example, after telephone conversation(and it could only take place in 2G/3G) I never saw a 2G or 3G indicator. While I was closing the call screen and the address book, the device managed to return to 4G.

The lack of indication (arrows next to the icon) of data transmission is a little infuriating; in our conditions this is important. You click on the link and wait, not understanding what is happening. Either the site is taking a long time to load, or the data transmission has “died” and it’s time to reconnect your smartphone. Moreover, on the Wi-Fi icon the treasured arrows are there and working. By whose strange whim was this indication removed for connection via cellular network- mystery. It was also not possible to display the battery charge indicator in percentage in the status line.

Led indicator events are a great blessing. Here it is two-color (red/green), and applications allow you to customize the color and frequency of blinking. That is, in most cases, you not only learn about the “event”, but also see what kind of “event” overtook you. And is it worth turning on the screen for it?

The telephone functions of smartphones are losing their importance, but “what about talking?!” it’s not going anywhere, we say. Everything is fine here, no complaints. The voice speaker could have been better, but they stuck with what they had. Long gone are the days of forum battles on the topic of voice speakers. different manufacturers. For example, I liked the speakers of the “top” models the most Ericsson phones, I still remember.

I didn’t notice any slowdowns in the interface; programs launched quickly. But for some reason it takes 10 seconds longer than usual. Visible against the background fast loading via 4G, some 20 MB software downloads faster than it installs.

There are no complaints about the GPS; it finds satellites quickly. Among other things, there is an FM radio, which predictably uses a headset or headphone wire as an antenna. Which are not included in the kit.

Summary

The smartphone can be considered as a compromise for those who do not want to overpay. There are no serious shortcomings, it works stably, and 4G is frankly pleasing. But the price is 6,490 rubles. a bit tall. If there was an IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1080, it would be just right. Read more in the “Positioning” section.

Beeline continues to delight us with “autumn new products” and expands the range of branded mobile devices. Before Beeline Pro 2 and Beeline Tab Pro appeared on sale, they were followed by two new devices with LTE support from the new Fast line. This is a 5" 4G smartphone Beeline Fast and 7" tablet Beeline Tab Fast, also with LTE support. The appearance of such devices on the market is quite justified, because The geography of LTE coverage continues to expand, including more and more new regions, and the operator logically strives to offer subscribers affordable devices that actively consume traffic. For the end consumer, this approach opens up good prospects for purchasing an inexpensive high-tech device at attractive price. Beeline Tab and Beeline Tab Fast are good in this regard not only because they have a 4G module, but also the latest OS Google Android 5.1 Lollipop, which came before latest news not often seen in budget devices.

The cost of the devices is relatively low - 5990 rubles. for Beeline Fast (smartphone) and 5490 rub. for Beeline Tab Fast (tablet). At the time of the start of sales, there are no promotions or special offers that allow you to buy a device cheaper complete with tariff plan, was not foreseen, but as we have repeatedly seen, it is quite possible that such promotions will appear in the near future.

Let's try to take a closer look at what is offered to us under the "brand" Fast and we'll start, perhaps, with a smartphone:

The new operator's LTE gadget, which has every chance of becoming popular, comes in black, gold and silver colors. We received the black version for review. As you can see, there is nothing unusual in appearance There is no smartphone - a candy bar-shaped case, a panel with hardware buttons in the shape of a triangle, a circle and a square, which has long been a signature Lollipop feature, and a large 5" screen. By the way, Beeline Fast uses an IPS matrix, which, as you know, has good brightness and has fairly large viewing angles compared to previous technologies. True, the screen resolution is 480x854 pixels. Agree, on a screen of this size I would like to see at least 720x1080, but here it is necessary to take into account that this is a budget-class device and, apparently, the manufacturer considered that 480x854 would be optimal for the majority, which is partly true, because The average user cannot name at all the brand of chip on which his smartphone is built, nor the screen resolution, nor other characteristics (well, with the possible exception of the number of cores, which has not been a fundamental indicator for a long time).

Speaking of the chip. Beeline Fast is built on the basis of a modern SoC from MediaTek - MT6735M. The chip has four cores with clock frequency 1 Ghz, and the 500 MHz" Mali-T720 MP2 is responsible for graphics output. In combination with 1 Gb of RAM and 8 Gb of internal memory (ROM), the device’s resources allow you to comfortably use any popular applications on it, even despite to the more hardware-demanding 5.1 LolliPop. Specifications and productivity

  • Quad-core CPU MediaTek MT6735M clocked at 1 GHz;
  • Mali-T720 as a graphics accelerator;
  • default operating system Android system 5.1;
  • 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory;
  • slot for microSDHC memory cards up to 32 GB;
  • GPS navigation;
  • rechargeable battery with a capacity of 2200 mAh;
  • weight 124 grams.

The hardware described above is not impressive, but in practice the gadget works quite quickly: menus and applications open instantly, the browser also works well with a variety of open tabs. The only thing that bothers me is the heating of the case.

The smartphone copes well with modern 3D games, but this is not the merit of the hardware; the screen has a minimum resolution.

Appearance

What immediately catches your eye is the thin body made of pleasant soft-touch plastic. The edges of the device are nicely rounded, and smooth lines dominate the entire design.

The front side is completely covered with tempered glass, onto which an additional protective film. At the top end of the gadget there is a speaker, a front camera and a proximity sensor. Touch navigation keys are located under the screen.

The back side is completely occupied by a plastic cover. At the top there is a five-megapixel camera lens with a flash, at the bottom there is the Beeline logo and an external speaker grille.

The device weighs very little - 124 grams, and is convenient to carry in your pocket. The movement of all physical buttons is clear. The case itself did not reveal any creaks, the build quality was excellent.

Screen

The 5-inch IPS screen has a resolution of 480x854 pixels. The Matrix is not impressive. However, games and movies look decent on the display, the picture is bright and colorful. The wide viewing angles are also pleasing, but the brightness is critically lacking.

Auto-tuning works correctly. The sensor clearly handles up to five simultaneous touches.

Camera

Don't forget that this is a budget smartphone, and the camera is nothing more than a pleasant bonus. The main camera has a five-megapixel sensor and LED flash. The set of settings is standard: panorama, video shooting, HDR. The camera's capabilities are sufficient for landscapes or portraits in good lighting.

The front 0.3 megapixel camera copes well with its functions – video calls.

Results

This time Beeline really pleased: unlike the recently released tablet computer" ". You can buy Beeline Fast for only 5,800 rubles, for which the user receives latest version Android OS, high-quality and beautiful case, big screen and high-speed mobile Internet.
