Mail.ru mail registration
You need to register only if you do not yet have a mailbox in Mail. After all, registration is the creation of a new email with a new address. If you already have a box, you do not need to register!
one . Open a new tab, type mail.ru in the address bar and press Enter on your keyboard.
3 . Fill in each field of the questionnaire.
Name . Print your name.
Surname . Type your last name.
Date of Birth . Enter the date, month and year of your birth.
Floor . Choose gender - male or female.
Desired postal address. In this line you need to print the name for your future box. You can use both letters and numbers, as well as a period, underscore, or hyphen. But the letters must be typed in the Latin alphabet, because all addresses on the Internet are only English.
Pay attention to the end of the address. Initially, it is @mail.ru, but you can choose another one: @inbox.ru, @list.ru or @bk.ru.
Password . Here you need to type the code with which you will open your box. It must contain English letters and numbers. At least six and without spaces.
Password confirmation. In this line you need to type the same code as in the previous field.
Telephone . Here the site asks to print your mobile number. This is optional, but I highly recommend specifying it. After all, if there are problems with access to the box, the easiest way to restore it will be through the phone.

When all fields are filled in, click the "Register" button. The system will ask you to print the numbers from the picture, and then your new email box will open. You can immediately use it - send and receive letters.
Learning to use email
All actions with mail take place in the user's personal account. Through it we receive and send letters, photos and documents.
The mail.ru personal account looks like this:
Folders on the left side:
- Inbox - here are all received messages.
- Sent - this is the folder where the sent letters go (they are duplicated in it).
- Drafts - a folder where your unsent messages are saved. Through this folder, you can restore the letter after a failure.
- Spam - advertising junk is placed here.
- Trash - this is where the messages that you have deleted from the mailbox are stored.
The most important folder is the Inbox. All new messages (except spam) get into it. Messages that have not yet been opened are highlighted in bold, and those that have already been opened are highlighted in light blue.
To open a letter, you just need to click on it with the left mouse button.
How to send a letter
To write and send a letter, click on the button that says "Write a letter" in the upper left corner.
Loading new page. In the "To" line, type email address the person you want to write a letter to.

The text of the letter is printed in a large white box. If there is a lot of text, this field will automatically expand (a slider will appear on the side).
After you fill in the required fields, click the "Submit" button once and wait a few seconds. If everything is in order, a page with the inscription "Your letter has been sent" will load. A copy of the email will remain in the Sent Items folder.
How to send a file
To send a photo or document, you need to do everything the same as when sending a regular letter. Namely, fill in the "To", "Subject" field and print the text of the letter.
But just before you click the "Submit" button, you need to add a file inside. To do this, click on the inscription "Attach a file" (under the line "Subject").
A small window will appear. Find in it the photo, document or other file that you want to send, and double-click on it with the left mouse button.
The window will disappear, and the file that you added will be shown in the letter.
The site mail.ru does not open - what to do?
Check if it opens on other devices: on the phone, on another computer. If it opens, then the problem is on your side - most likely it is a virus.
If the Mail does not open anywhere, then in this case we are talking about blocking it.

In this name, you can use not only letters of the Latin alphabet, but also numbers, dots, dashes, hyphens and some other characters. The username is always followed by an @ sign ("dog"). And then comes the domain name, we have it yandex.ru. Let's dwell on the latter in more detail... You choose which free mail service you would like to have a mailbox on: yandex.ru, rambler.ru, mail.ru, yahoo.com, hotmail.com and others.
What is e-mail and how to create it
- First of all, select the service on which you want to create your email (yandex.ru, rambler.ru, mail.ru, and so on). Visit this site. Find the word "mail". For users who already have an e-mail here, a form for entering a login and password is offered. And for you nearby - "start a mailbox" or something like that. Click right here.
- Now you need to fill in some information about you. The real surname and first name must be entered, but this does not mean that everyone will see them. Your username, which you have to come up with, will be visible to everyone. It is allowed to use only letters of the English alphabet and start the login with a lowercase letter. Common words or names are probably already taken, so invent something new, combine letters, numbers and symbols. Many services themselves will tell you which login is not yet taken.
- When the data is specified, click on the "Next" or "Continue" button.
- You may be asked to complete a registration form. Fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory, the rest are optional.
- As a rule, when registering e-mail addresses asked to choose Security Question and enter an answer. This is necessary to recover your password if you forget or lose it. Each user is given their own unique name. You cannot select a name for a mailbox that is already occupied by someone. If you have created and typed an existing e-mail, the message “A mailbox with the same name already exists” will appear. And the system will prompt other, free options. All mail addresses consist of a name, a sign @ and some kind of ending. It was originally mail.ru
For example, in the e-mail field, I typed the name ivan. If this address is not occupied by anyone, then my mailbox will be called [email protected] And if I entered the name ivan2015, and it turned out to be free, then my mailbox would be called [email protected]
But this "tail" can be changed through a small additional field.
By clicking on it, a list will appear from which you can select a different ending. For example, if I select @list.ru from this list, then my mailbox will be called [email protected]
The next field to be filled in is "Password".
The password is a few English letters and numbers that you will use to open your mailbox. Without a password, it is impossible to open e-mail and read letters.
It must be at least six characters long. It is mandatory that the password contains both letters (English only) and numbers.
When it is printed, letters and numbers will be typed in dots. This is done on purpose so that no one can spy on the password. After all, if another person recognizes him, he will be able to open your mail and read the letters.
And immediately after filling in the “Password” field, write it down in a safe place so as not to accidentally forget it!
After that, the system asks for a mobile phone number. This is done so that in case of loss of the password from the mail, you can restore it.
The mobile number must be entered with the operator code. For example:
