Smartphone he plus 3 t. OnePlus smartphones

Chinese company OnePlus, releasing commercially successful flagship smartphone models, successfully competes with such “monsters” of the mobile market as Apple, Samsung and Google. One of the most successful in the history of the company was the One Plus 3 model released in June 2016. And just five months after its release, the updated modification 3T was presented, which came to us for testing.

Was such a quick release of the new model justified? What is it and how does it differ from its predecessor? We have prepared a detailed One review Plus 3T, after reading which you will learn all the features and characteristics of this smartphone.

OnePlus 3T video review

To get a first impression of what the One Plus 3T is like, watch the video review of this model:

Price and characteristics

At the beginning of March 2017, the price for 3T starts at 24,000 rubles. This is cheaper than in the US, where a similar model costs an average of $399-$499. The difference in price arose due to the fact that One phones Plus is produced in China, from where they are supplied directly to Russia, and to the USA – across the ocean. You can also save significantly on purchasing a phone if you order it directly from a Chinese website.

Characteristics of 1+3T:

  • screen: 5.5” Full-HD Super AMOLED;
  • processor: Snapdragon821 + Adreno 530 graphics accelerator;
  • RAM: 66 GB;
  • internal memory: 64/128 GB, depending on version;
  • cameras: main – 16 MP, front – 16 MP;
  • wireless interfaces: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS, LTE;
  • battery: 3400 mAh.

Let's take a closer look at all the features of the phone.

Design and ergonomics

Visually, the new model is very similar to the third smartphone in the line, that is, its predecessor. There are two production colorways on sale - gold and dark gray, as well as limited edition versions called Colette and Midnight Black. Only 250 Colette-type smartphones were produced, for which huge queues lined up in Paris. The Midnight Black design is more affordable but also limited edition.

The aluminum back houses the One Plus logo, camera lens and flash. There are plastic inserts for antennas, the transition between materials is almost tactilely indistinguishable, and visually the stripes also harmoniously complement the design of the smartphone.

On the left edge there is a triple button for switching sound modes, which in practice turns out to be very convenient, and a volume rocker.

On the right is a screen lock key and a tray for a card slot (2x NanoSim).

Below - USB-C port, headphone jack and speaker grille. The upper end of the case remained completely empty.

On the front panel covered tempered glass Gorilla Glass 4 there is a mechanical key with a built-in fingerprint. It works almost instantly with a minimum number of false recognitions.

Despite the screen diagonal of 5.5 inches, the smartphone turned out to be very compact; it fits easily in the hand. At the same time, the metal body has a matte, slightly rough surface, which does not slip and encourages a confident grip.

Display

The screen of the new model is exactly the same as that of the regular One Plus - it is 5.5 AMOLED with a Full HD resolution of 1920x1080 401ppi. During testing of the smartphone, the protective glass did not receive even the slightest scratch; the olephobic coating on it is also very good.

The display is bright, rich and contrasty. Viewing angles are maximum, the brightness range is more than sufficient for any conditions of use. In general, the 3T’s screen is truly flagship.

The smartphone has many options for customizing the display, including adjusting color temperature, contrast, etc. The mode for automatically adjusting the screen brightness to external conditions works correctly. It is very useful on a sunny day, when you either walk down the street with your phone or go into shaded areas. In both cases, what is happening on the screen will be clearly visible and you will not have to change the brightness manually every time.

Hardware, performance

One Plus 3T is powered by the Snapdragon 821 processor, and its predecessor is powered by the Snapdragon 820. In practice, the difference between the two chipsets is absolutely imperceptible; the performance of both is enough for the eyes in any scenarios for using the smartphone. Therefore, if you have One Plus 3, do not rush to change it to a new one - you will not see much of a difference in operating speed.

During the entire testing period, we did not notice any moments of thoughtfulness in the smartphone, or any bugs or stutters. Everything flies - both in the interface and browser, and in games. Let's add to this the volume increased to 6 GB random access memory and we’ll get a smartphone that will be relevant for at least a few more years, since it is now one of the best in terms of hardware.

Cameras, picture and video quality

One of the main differences between the 1+3T and its predecessor is the 16-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. However, this did not give a real noticeable increase in the quality of selfies; the picture became less better than that one, which was produced by the 8-megapixel front camera 1+3, and the pictures it took were decent.

Video 1+3T records in 4K resolution, the picture turns out to be very decent in detail, but stabilization sometimes fails. In general, in terms of photo and video capabilities, the smartphone can easily compete with the flagships of A-brands; here it will not disappoint even demanding users.

Speaker and sound quality

The 1+3T has a useful button for changing volume modes; it allows you to choose between three profiles: normal, quiet and do not disturb (silent), which is very convenient for various situations. The quality of the multimedia speaker is good, the sound is loud and clear. Headphones are also doing well.

The microphone and speaker of the device work flawlessly. During a conversation, the interlocutor, like you, can be heard perfectly, and he claims the same.

Battery

We conducted a variety of endurance tests on the One Plus 3T, testing it in intensive mode all day long: taking photos and videos, surfing the Internet, and using the device as a navigator. The smartphone lasted until the evening, and it still had 15% charge left.

In a more economical mode, the battery holds a charge for about two days. The test of continuous video playback with wireless connection turned off showed almost 17 hours of active screen time - this is a very cool result. Well, as befits a flagship, the 3T is equipped with fast charging, which fills the battery from zero to 100% in an hour.

Wireless communications and Internet

The smartphone supports Wi-Fi, GPS, NFS, Bluetooth 4.2, GLONASS and the Chinese BeiDou system. On satellite navigation On a cold start it takes about 5 seconds to adjust. Signal from Wi-Fi router The device receives at a distance of up to 350 meters. 3G/4G Internet is fast and stable both outdoors and indoors, no connection problems were detected.

Via USB-C, the smartphone correctly connects to any external devices. The disadvantages of the model include the absence of FM radio, beloved by conservatives.

Despite the fact that the OnePlus brand is quite young, the smartphones it produces have already gained a strong reputation. The company is one of the three popular Chinese manufacturers; it surpasses Meizu in quality, but at the same time it is closest in price to A-class brands.

OnePlus smartphone line

The flagship model at the moment is. This is a thin and elegant device with a Full HD+ display (aspect ratio - 18 by 9). The quality of the display can be equal to Samsung devices. Camera sensors are from Sony.

The operating system is based on Android based. The battery allows you to work for a day and a half at medium load and 7 hours in video viewing mode. Original charging allows you to get 90% battery charge in just 1 hour.

It is also worth highlighting other models:

  • OnePlus One - the first model released in 2014, the parameters were approximately the same Samsung Galaxy S5;
  • OnePlus 2 - 2015 model with a 5.5-inch screen and two cameras of 13 and 5 megapixels;
  • OnePlus X - released at the end of 2015, more compact than previous models thanks to a 5-inch screen, the filling corresponds to branded smartphones of 2014;
  • OnePlus 3 - 2016 model, is equipped with a 5-inch screen and features fast charging;
  • OnePlus 5 - released in 2017, its design resembles the iPhone 7 Plus, and in terms of quality it first received the unofficial title of “Chinese flagship”.

The model with the number 4 was not produced, since the number 4 is considered unlucky in Eastern culture.

Positioning

OnePlus positions its phones as flagship killers, the statement is loud and this is pure marketing. On the other hand, the first OnePlus was a very interesting device, while the second turned out to be uninteresting, expensive at the start and in comparison with its classmates, and was ambiguous from an engineering point of view. I was waiting for the OnePlus 3 with great disbelief, but this device turned out to be not only worthy, but one of the best in terms of price/quality ratio in its class. Of course, this is not a flagship killer or the most powerful smartphone, as they sometimes try to position it. Rather, it is a Chinese flagship that offers a very good level of performance, high-quality manufacturing of body parts and, as a result, a good overall impression. The smartphone has certain inherent shortcomings, but they are not critical and are more than offset by its advantages. We will talk about both of them in detail below, but for now let’s figure out who this device is for.

In Russia, OnePlus is supplied by Marvel, which means that in addition to gray devices or ordering from foreign stores, you can also buy a normal device with all warranty obligations. At the same time, the price for them is absolutely identical, which I see as a big plus for searching for the Russian version. More precisely, it must be said that the European version is sold in Russia; it differs in LTE frequencies from the Chinese and American versions.

Chinese flagships are a separate layer of devices, which is of interest to those who do not want to pay for Android flagships from well-known companies, but still want to get a balanced solution. By balance, everyone here understands something different, for some, life is not sweet without a large amount of RAM, for others, they are looking for a high-quality screen with not the highest resolution, since they see no point in QHD, and for others, it’s absolutely necessary. so that the phone works for a long time and is made of metal. People's needs are very different, but in fact, a Chinese flagship is always an opportunity to buy a device with very good characteristics for 30-35 thousand rubles. On the other hand, there are no miracles in the world and you always sacrifice “little things”, the camera will have a high resolution, but not be ideal in all conditions, noticeably inferior to the flagships of famous brands. And there can be many such moments; how critical they are for you is another matter. For those who are looking for a high-quality solution with an excellent price/quality ratio, you should pay attention to OnePlus 3, it is very interesting smartphone for the general public, below I will try to explain why.

Design, dimensions, control elements

Someone is copying Apple design, someone borrows it from Samsung, but there is a whole galaxy of companies that were inspired by the flagships from HTC and OnePlus is one of them. People who have forgotten HTC One can compare OnePlus 3 with models from Huawei, a certain similarity can be traced. Metal body, which is made from “aircraft grade aluminum,” which is a very vague name for the alloy used. In fact, this is painted metal, and there can be two color options - golden and dark gray, the second device looks more advantageous. The quality of the case is such that it does not wear out over time, scratches are not visible. Although you can rub it with sandpaper and achieve results, nothing happens in your pocket along with the keys to talk about the low wear resistance of the case.

Considering that this is a phablet, one could expect it to be large in size, but it turned out to be quite compact for its class - 152.7x74.7x7.35 mm. Weight 158 grams. The phone fits perfectly in the hand, there are no problems with it, it does not slip even in wet hands.

The display has a protective 2.5D glass (Corning Gorilla Glass 4 is declared, but an analogue of this glass is used), and a protective film is initially glued to it. It is smaller in size than the screen and your finger touches the edges. I can’t say that this causes any discomfort, but it is perceived as a slight sloppiness. It was necessary to make the film larger so that it covered the entire screen.

Above the screen in the upper left corner there is an indicator for missed events; it is not very bright, but clearly visible. In the settings you can choose the backlight color for various events; there are several such colors.

screen

On the left side there is a paired volume key, and just above there is a three-position lever, with its help you can turn on Do Not Disturb mode or limit notifications only from important applications. The thing is super convenient, it allows you to immediately achieve the desired result without going into the menu, without turning on the device.

On the right side there is an on/off key, just above the tray for two nanoSIM cards.

At the bottom you can see a USB Type C connector, speaker output, as well as a 3.5 mm jack and microphone. The second microphone is located near the camera on the rear panel, it is used when shooting video, and also participates in the noise reduction system during conversations. The camera itself protrudes from the back, but this does not create any problem.

Whatever one may say, the device turned out to be nice, tightly built and can only be blamed for the fact that it does not have protection from water, but the Chinese flagships cannot yet boast of this.

There is a fingerprint sensor under the screen, it works just fine, the touch is recognized instantly and is in no way inferior to how it happens on the iPhone/Galaxy. In addition to the fact that it is a fingerprint sensor, you can assign the touch pad to call one of the functions; a double or long press is recognized. The pad is not pressed, so it all depends not on the force, but on how long you hold your finger on it. For example, I’m so used to the fact that I can quickly launch the camera on my Galaxy with two presses of the Home key, that I chose the same function, it’s very convenient.

On the sides of the sensor there are touch keys; they do not have symbols, since in the menu you can change their places and choose the location that is familiar to you.

Display

Chinese manufacturers strive to use AMOLED matrices, as this makes their products stand out, gives them a touch of respectability, and it turns out that they are no worse than Samsung. Considering that you have to buy AMOLED matrices from Samsung or small manufacturers, they cannot be compared with the latest generations of matrices from Samsung. As a rule, they are distinguished by noticeably lower brightness and the absence of additional energy saving modes. The display in OnePlus 3 was no exception. For marketing reasons, the Optic prefix was added to it; in fact, this means that the company’s engineers adjusted the color profiles to their liking and considered this ideal. Screen resolution 1920x1080 pixels, 401 ppi with a diagonal of 5.5 inches. Of course, this is not a QHD screen on which you cannot see the pattern of the picture and individual dots, here they are almost invisible, but still sometimes you see the picture a little rough. But for its class of devices this is an excellent screen, in which one can only complain about insufficient brightness when shooting with the camera; the picture looks dark and dull. In all other cases, especially indoors, there is nothing to complain about, everything works plus/minus well.

From the developers menu you can change color scheme screen on sRGB, it seemed to me much more interesting than the default one.

Another feature of the screen is the display of information from applications the moment you move your hand over the screen. All notifications are shown on a black background, which is convenient.

The conclusion about the screen of this model is simple - for the Chinese it is a good matrix, on the level of what Motorola puts in its devices, but in no way reaches Samsung, many parameters are worse.

Battery

Since OnePlus uses all the developments of the parent company OPPO, this device has fast charging called DASH, this is a complete analogue of VOOC technology from OPPO. Charging 4A, 5V and allows you to charge a Li-Pol battery in 65-70 minutes. In fifteen minutes you get about 30 percent battery charge, which is very convenient. Phones without fast charging have become an anachronism for me; too much time is wasted on unnecessary waiting.

But the most interesting thing is the battery capacity of 3000 mAh, which makes you think that the smartphone does not last very long. But that's not true. In practice, the smartphone easily works for two days under normal load, in particular, up to 5-6.5 hours of screen operation (here it all depends on the brightness of the display, as you understand). For me, this operating time is excellent and makes the model stand out among its classmates; I have to thank the AMOLED screen for this.

The total video playback time at maximum brightness is about 13-14 hours.

Communication capabilities

The first model had NFC support, the second one abandoned it and now they have returned it again, which can only be welcomed. Bluetooth version 4.2.

Unlike the previous device, WiFi is single-band, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac is supported. Many users complain that they are watching with WiFi certain problems, downloading files from the Play Store may be slow or freeze, the same goes for transfers large files or download them. Someone on the contrary says that they don’t notice anything like that. The problem is not software, but purely hardware and is related to the implementation of antennas for WiFi, they were too clever with them. Depending on how you hold the phone and what router you connect to, this drawback may or may not appear. It is impossible to guess who will be lucky here. The problem is nagging, annoying, but does not put an end to the device at all. On my phone, in some places it showed up, in others it was invisible. Of course, if it constantly comes out at work or at home, it will be wildly annoying.

A few words about hardware GPS, it works well, there are no complaints about it. In any case, in conjunction with A-GPS, the device quickly becomes attached to the terrain and when using Google Maps guides the route well.

ABOUT LTE frequencies written at the very beginning, here I want to add that support for Cat.6 is declared. Frequency aggregation does not work for Cat.6, at least in Russia. If you don't know what it is, then it probably shouldn't bother you.

Memory, RAM, chipset, performance

The model has 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, no memory cards are provided. Fast memory, as well as the presence of the Snapdragon 820 chipset, makes this solution one of the fastest on the market. But this is not the most important thing, since there are many analogues on the same chipset, but not all of them work well. Here the engineers have done great job, on the one hand, the device works for a long time and does not heat up, on the other hand, it fully reveals the potential of the chipset. We can safely say that its performance will remain in the top ten devices for at least two years (with a number of reservations, but still). Look at the results of synthetic tests.

Camera

Main camera 16 megapixels (Sony IMX298 module), phase focus, image stabilization (optical and digital), 1.12 microns, f/2.0. If we ignore the technical details and look at the quality of shooting, we will see that in bright lighting conditions this camera produces good pictures, but in the dark it starts to blur, many pictures simply cannot be taken. This is normal and typical for such devices. The camera interface is clear and simple. Evaluate the pictures yourself, I don’t see any point in going into detail about them, the camera is not something outstanding here. Average or slightly above average.

Sample photos

Software

The Oxygen OS shell is very simple and intuitive, you can figure it out in a matter of minutes. The difference from Hydrogen OS is described in detail in last year's OnePlus 2 review, which can be found.

Below you can look at screenshots of the interface.

Impression

The speaker volume is always sufficient, the device can be heard. There are no particular complaints about the quality of speech transmission, the second microphone often blows in the wind, noise reduction, however, works noticeably better than in OnePlus 2, this parameter has clearly been improved here.

The price of this smartphone is $400 company store OnePlus, but it’s worth adding the cost of delivery, the lack of warranty in Russia and weighing how important this is or not. The device costs about 30-32 thousand rubles from resellers, and 35 thousand rubles in official deliveries. What to choose is up to you.

On my own behalf, I will say that the model turned out to be very balanced and interesting. Not a bad camera for its class, not perfect but good AMOLED screen, excellent performance, which will last for 2-3 years of using the phone. Fast charging and for a long time work. In a word, this is a very successful model that is worth paying close attention to.

To understand what competitors are doing, you can look at the Huawei Nova Plus, which is somewhat similar in design and materials, which is built on a Snapdragon 625 and has only 3 GB of RAM. While the price is equal, these products are somewhat different in content and OnePlus 3 clearly wins.

Many examples of this kind can be cited, even taking into account smaller differences in cost per Russian market, OnePlus outperforms many other models and has no direct competitors for its money.

A typical review of a gadget is a long and often boring for most readers sheet of words, not always clear numbers and graphs, as well as pictures, telling in detail about all the components of the device. It turns out to be too many letters, and the key advantages and disadvantages are smeared throughout the text and are not stored in the head.

We decided to discard everything unnecessary, leaving the most important. Exclusively helpful information, which you can quickly familiarize yourself with and learn everything about the gadget. Only the pros, cons and controversial features of a device with much less water content.

What kind of killer is he if he costs 30 thousand rubles?

Comparing OnePlus 3 with budget Xiaomi or Meizu for a little over 100 dollars is the same as putting Lada and BMW on the same level.

OnePlus 3 is a smartphone that was created as a counterweight to expensive top brands from well-known brands and is equipped with the most powerful filling and the best materials.

In terms of performance and execution, the flagship killer is equal to the Galaxy S7 Edge, LG G5 and others, but at the same time it costs significantly less.

pros

Performance with reserve

Someone says that a modern Android smartphone lacks 2 GB of RAM. For some, 3 GB is not enough. The new OnePlus is equipped with an honest SIX GIGABYTES of LPDDR4 RAM. Such a large amount of memory is certainly excessive, but not even the most demanding Android enthusiast will accuse a smartphone of lack of RAM. Again, you can shake the number in front of the faces of Samsung owners, feeling your own superiority. In general, gigahertz and gigabyte competitions are widely practiced among power users, and OnePlus 3 was created specifically for them.

In combination with the most powerful Snapdragon 820 and Adreno 530 graphics, the smartphone becomes a real monster that can easily handle ANY most demanding game on ultra-graphics, keeping three more heavy applications and a couple of dozen ordinary ones in memory.

Flexible Android without tinsel

OnePlus 3 runs OxygenOS based on the current . This assembly, on the one hand, is similar to the reference, pure Android from Google, but on the other hand, it hides a very large potential for customization. Suffice it to say that the user can add custom actions even to system buttons and change the position of the Back button, placing it either on the left or on the right depending on the habit.

The assignments of the three-position physical notification mode switch have not yet been configured, but the next update will probably add such a function, or one of the third-party developers will do it.

The absence of heavy graphics kits makes the system nimble and stable. There is no unnecessary software, which often duplicates Google applications, creates additional confusion and slows down the entire system. OxygenOS is almost perfect in terms of simplicity and functionality.

Balanced Design

If you wish, you can get to the bottom of any case, but in the case of OnePlus 3 it is difficult to do so. Aluminum, capital, with impeccable fit of parts.

Moderately weighty, not too thin, at the same time strict, but streamlined thanks to rounded corners and 2.5D glass.

Without the stupid glass back that collects tons of oil from your fingers. OnePlus 3 is very comfortable and looks great in both rough male paws and beautiful female hands.

Science-Based Night Mode

Health-safe night mode is not only about reduced brightness and dark theme. The blue light from the screen is a wake-up signal for our brain. For this reason, we cannot fall asleep when we look at our smartphone before bed. Night mode in OnePlus 3 it turns off blue and does not cause untimely hormonal surges.

A fast fingerprint scanner that is positioned correctly

In terms of response speed, the OnePlus 3 fingerprint scanner is not inferior to that of the Galaxy S7 and iPhone 6s, but the most important thing is its location.

We don’t know what motivated the engineers who came up with the idea of placing the sensor at the REAR. Perhaps these people hold their phone in their hands 100% of the time. An ordinary person very often has situations when he needs to do something on a smartphone lying on the table. In this case, the front scanner does not interfere in any way, but with the rear location you have to first take the device in your hand, then feel for the sensor, remove the lock and return the device to the table surface. This is terribly inconvenient and infuriating. Don't buy smartphones that have a scanner on the back: you will regret your choice.

The scanner not only removes the lock, but also plays the role of a “Home” button. Unlike the iPhone, the button here is touch-sensitive and not mechanical.

Great cameras from Sony

A modern smartphone is unthinkable without good cameras, and OnePlus 3 offers two cool sensors at once: the main 16-megapixel Sony IMX298 with PDAF autofocus, HDR and dynamic noise filter, as well as the front 8-megapixel IMX179, also from Sony.

Naturally, these cameras take very good pictures, as you can see by looking at the image below. It was made without any presets, literally on the go.

OnePlus records video up to 4K at 30 fps. Standard 1080p is recorded at 60 frames, and for 720p slow motion is available at 120 frames.

Those who love selfies will really like the auto-selfie mode, in which the smartphone automatically focuses on the face, then starts a countdown and takes a photo. An extremely convenient feature.

Has NFC

Those who have discovered the delights of contactless payment using NFC rarely pick up cash and bank card. Despite the aluminum body, OnePlus 3 engineers miraculously squeezed smartphone NFC. And everything works without any complaints.

Normal procedure for buying a smartphone without invites

Previous OnePlus models could not be purchased without an invite. Artificially making it difficult to purchase through an invitation system is a working, but rather nasty way to create additional noise and an aura of “elitism” around your products. Luckily, OnePlus has stopped dealing with nonsense and is now selling smartphones without unnecessary complications. Paid - waited - received.

Minuses

No choice

Only one configuration. No options. Don’t want to overpay for frankly extra 6 GB of RAM? Sorry. I would like to save money at the expense of size internal memory, because you are unlikely to take up 64 GB? Sorry again.

We are sure that if OnePlus had released a younger version of the smartphone with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, sales would have been even stronger.

No moisture protection

This is where OnePlus 3 openly compares to Samsung, whose latest flagships have IP68 water and dust protection class. We hope that water resistance will appear in the next generation of these wonderful smartphones.

5.5 inches is not for everyone

Have you ever held an iPhone 6 Plus? Not everyone likes this shovel. It seems to us that a 5-inch diagonal is optimal for a modern smartphone.

By releasing a phablet, OnePlus is deliberately narrowing the circle of potential buyers.

Sad battery that leaks at night

A 3,000 mAh battery with such an energy-hungry filling is not enough, very little. To make matters worse, if you leave your smartphone overnight at, say, 80% charge, you may wake up in the morning and find it only has 65-70% charge. There were no guaranteed nightly downloads of large amounts of information. Updates were also not installed. We hope this problem The next update will solve it, but for now OnePlus 3 is not at all autonomous. To hold such power in your hands and not use it to its full potential, for fear of being left without any connection at all, is a shame.

Two SIM cards, but no microSD - dammit!

Any Chinese now offers a hybrid slot in which you can put either two SIM cards, or replace one SIM with a card microSD memory. Hey, OnePlus, have you really not heard of such a convenient solution or have you deliberately given in to Samsung, whose smartphone has microSD?

Difficulties with the service

OnePlus 3 is only sold online. There are no services, especially in Russia, where the smartphone has not officially appeared yet. If something happens, you will have to send it by mail to another country. Long and expensive.

Controversial issues

Optic AMOLED display and unnecessary marketing

The advantages and disadvantages of AMOLED displays have long been known. The OnePlus 3 screen is very bright, rich, rich. True black color thanks to independent power supply for each pixel, Full HD 1,920 × 1,080, density around 400 ppi per inch, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. All this is cool.

You have to pay with realism and accuracy of color rendering. The colors are so crazy they don't seem real. Sometimes they are downright poisonous. Those accustomed to AMOLED will not notice anything, but those who switched to OnePlus from IPS screens will be surprised.

Another unpleasant point concerns marketing terms. Do you know what Optic AMOLED is and how it is better than regular AMOLED? Nothing. This is the same display from Samsung, which they tried to tighten up in order to improve color fidelity. It didn’t turn out very well, but for a person unfamiliar with the topic and too lazy to Google, such marketing can be misleading.

USB-C DASH Charge - exclusive and expensive

OnePlus 3's proprietary fast charging technology allows you to charge your smartphone by 60% in 30 minutes. True, it only works with the original adapter and only with the original wire.

If you don’t have any at hand, you will have to be content with the standard battery filling characteristics.

By the way, when buying a phone with USB-C, you need to be prepared for the fact that all your friends and colleagues, who shared their cable and charger in difficult times, will no longer be able to help you. USB-C is still a rarity, and quite expensive.

Removable USB-C cable with support for DASH Charge from OnePlus will cost 15 euros. Fork - 20 euros. Expensive!
