Against the background of all this, you are probably already wondering why all computer manufacturers have not massively switched to this class of disks and continue to rely on the good old HDD?

Today, the SSD market offers a solid variety of models. Of course, not all of them are created equal - some are faster than others, some are more reliable, and all have different capacities.

The principle that applies here is similar to the main criterion for choosing any type of storage device - you need to divide the cost of a disk by its volume to get a figure known as "price per gigabyte". 5. Loosen the screws that hold the HDD in the sled. Usually they are located on one and the other end of 2 pieces.

8. Close the housing cover, install the screws in the same order in which they were removed.

1. Copy all the information you need from your disk

2. Remove the hard drive and install the SSD

Turn off the laptop, disconnect the laptop from all wires, turn it over and remove the laptop battery. 3. Install Windows on a new SSD

Now that there is bootable flash drive and loading occurs from it, then we install Windows on a new SSD. We select our SSD, it will be marked as "Unallocated space on disk 0" and click "Next" and install Windows.

Copy will start Windows files, then prepare for installation, install components, install updates, finish. The computer will restart several times. After the first reboot, you can remove the bootable USB flash drive.
