LEXAND Mini LPH7 Smarty is a smartphone that fits anywhere. Mobile phone Lexand LPH1 Mini: specifications, instructions, reviews

Smartphones with large screens are no longer surprising. They are presented in a wide range. However, buyers consider them faceless. The fact is that the design of modern gadgets practically does not differ from each other. Those who want to stand out from the crowd are invited to pay attention to the Lexand LPH1 Mini model, a review of which will be presented in this article. The device is a simple "dialer". It is not equipped with any technological innovations. However, this phone can be called exclusive. What is its feature? In miniature. The dimensions of the device are very small - approximately like those of Zippo lighters. Against the backdrop of huge gadgets, this simple model stands out brightly. In addition to size, buyers are attracted by the original design and low price. In retail, the phone is sold on average for one thousand rubles. What does the manufacturer offer in such a small device? Let's figure it out.

Lexand LPH1 Mini. Overview of key features

To begin short review characteristics are necessary with the advantages of this model. It refers to dimensions. The phone is pretty light. Its mass is only 75 g. Compared to smartphones, the weight of which starts at 120 g, the device seems like a feather. Its diminutiveness is also evidenced by the width and height of the case - 39 × 93 mm. But you can't say the same about the thickness. The phone turned out to be quite thick - 15 mm.

But even despite such dimensions, the Lexand LPH1 Mini has a display with a decent diagonal, as for push-button models. It is 1.44ʺ in the phone. The matrix is simple - TFT. It has certain disadvantages, but for a small screen, its characteristics are quite enough.

The SpreadTrum brand chip is responsible for the phone's performance. The model with the index 6531 does an excellent job with all the tasks. The device is designed to work with two SIM cards. The built-in memory can be expanded with external drive. The phone supports flash drives up to 32 GB. The manufacturer has provided a wireless Bluetooth module and USB interface. Unfortunately, this phone model does not provide the ability to connect to the Internet. The device lacks a Wi-Fi module and 3G.

Equipment

So, let's start reviewing the Lexand LPH1 Mini phone. Before we consider in detail the characteristics of the device, we will study what the manufacturer offers in the kit. The packaging box looks attractive. Of course, there is nothing special in its design, but a certain style is still visible. Depending on the color of the device itself, the box is made in different colors - light gray or sunny yellow. On the front panel there is a "window" through which you can view the phone without taking it out of the package. Its shape is original - the lower part is arched. This detail emphasizes the overall design style, as if fitting into the circles that diverge from the inscription. The manufacturer decided to focus on small sizes, so he used the name " Mini phone". Above the window is the company logo. And at the bottom of the packaging, an advertising slogan was used: "The style of your communication." On the side end are presented in the form of icons of the phone's capabilities. More detailed information is printed on the back panel. Here you can find the characteristics, complete set. Detailed information about the manufacturer and importer with addresses is also provided.

Here is what is in the box with the Lexand LPH1 Mini mobile phone:

  • Instruction. It is printed on plain paper, folded several times. There are illustrations, but they are of poor quality.
  • Warranty card with service information technical support and service providers in Russian.
  • Network charger at 0.5 A. According to users, the adapter is rather frail.
  • Headphones and adapter. The catch lies in the implemented mini-USB plug. There is no button on the headphones that you can use to answer calls. There is also no indication of left or right. The sound quality is low. Additional settings are not provided, so it will not be possible to correct the situation manually. The only thing you can use the included headphones for is when talking on the phone in a noisy place.
  • USB cable mini format, although the instructions for the Lexand LPH1 Mini indicate the micro type. It is important to pay attention to this typo when buying, as an error in the information can confuse the buyer.

Although the device supports memory cards, it is not included in the box. In principle, this is not considered a significant disadvantage, since the price of the phone is record low. Those who do not have enough built-in storage will have to buy a USB flash drive on their own.

Design

Rational volume is the main advantage of the Lexand LPH1 Mini mobile phone. In this matter, the manufacturer has done a great job. Slots for full-sized SIM-cards are displayed in the battery compartment. In order to access them, you will have to turn off the phone and remove the battery. There is also a slot for a memory card. Everything is quite compact, free space is used rationally.

The body parts are made of a single layer of metal. The battery cover is made from the same material. Users have no complaints about durability. The thickness of the metal sheet is 0.5 mm. Back cover Equipped with a good lock, so even over time it is fixed securely. The assembly of the Lexand LPH1 Mini is of high quality, there are no gaps. When pressed, the panels do not bend. However, there are complaints about the body. Glossy surfaces get dirty quickly. During use, scratches form on them.

On the case there is a socket for connecting the charger. Connector format - 2.5 mm. At the top of the phone, the designers have provided a hole through which you can put the cord. Thanks to him, many users attach the device to the keys as a key fob. However, do not forget that this can lead to scratches on the case.

This model is not protected against dust and water. The manufacturer even abandoned the standard rubberized layer.

Design

The Lexand LPH1 Mini mobile phone is on sale in three colors - brown, white and black. Each of these instances used chrome inserts. Externally, the device looks like a child's toy. At first glance, it is difficult to determine that it is made of metal. Even chrome surfaces look like painted plastic.

The design of the phone can hardly be called outstanding, but the style is clearly visible. The advantage, according to buyers, is that the manufacturer did not oversaturate the case with elements. There are no stickers, pictures, which allows us to call the design of Lexand LPH1 Mini concise. And as statistics show, the modern user likes it.

The front panel of the phone is framed by a chrome frame, which has not been rubbed over time, but is quite a brand. Due to the fact that the body is slightly concave on the sides, it is convenient to use it. Do not be afraid that the device will accidentally jump out of your hands. The lower part of the case has a rounded shape. At the top, these lines are repeated, but with less curvature. This allows the user to determine by touch where the bottom of the phone is, which is certainly convenient.

Control

Mobile phone Lexand LPH1 Mini is equipped with a mechanical keyboard. It is through it that control is exercised. All functions are standard, the manufacturer did not use any new products.

The panel with soft keys is typical for push-button devices. Round joystick in the center. Designed for five positions. On the sides of it are buttons for quick access to certain menu options and reset / receive (on SIM 1 and SIM 2) calls.

The vertical rows of the digital block are separated by arcuate lines, which are made according to the principle of the letter X. The keys themselves are not very comfortable. There are no bulges or other landmarks that help visually identify the buttons. However, users claim that after several days of using the phone, the necessary keys are quickly and easily found.

In practice, using the joystick turned out to be much more difficult. You have to press the arrows only with your fingernail. Comments from users also arose for the backlighting of the keys. Of course, there is, but the level of uniformity is clearly lame. On some buttons in the dark it is impossible to see alphabetic characters.

Display

What display is installed in the Lexand LPH1 Mini? Characteristics, as for a state employee, can be considered worthy. Its diagonal in centimeters is almost 4 (3.66) cm. It is quite acceptable for such a small device. The maximum screen resolution is 144 × 176 pixels. But this by no means speaks of poor quality Images. The picture is reproduced perfectly, all elements are clearly visible. Color rendition is realistic. Viewing angles are wide. The image is not distorted by horizontal tilts. A slight change in colors is noticeable only when turning vertically.

Also a significant advantage is the level of brightness. Its range is more than enough for outdoor work in sunny weather. There are no glare or reflections. Reading the text is quite comfortable. It is displayed smoothly and clearly on the screen.

Camera

Now let's talk about weaknesses Lexand LPH1 Mini. The characteristics of the camera, definitely, do not live up to modern requirements. Users believe that it is installed in this device, so to speak, for show. It must be understood that this model is a means of communication, not a camera phone. It is rather difficult to disagree with this, especially considering the cost of the phone. However, there are still moments during which it is important to have a device with a good camera. In such situations, you should not rely on the capabilities of this model.

The optical characteristics are rather weak. The manufacturer installed a sensor with a minimum resolution - only 0.3 megapixels. What can you say about the quality of pictures taken with Lexand LPH1 Mini? They are fuzzy, there is blur, and there is no need to talk about detailing at all. In a word, the quality is terrible. In the phone settings there is a function to change the shooting format. The maximum resolution is 1280 × 960 px. But don't count on improving the image. At this parameter, the frame turns out even worse than at low resolution. Recording a high-quality video is also an impossible task. Shooting is carried out in VGA format.

A more or less tolerable photograph can be taken at a distance of no more than 1.5 m from the object. To do this, in the camera menu, select the "shooting near" mode. Unfortunately, this is the only plus of all the minuses of optics.

Multimedia

As such, the operating system that smartphone owners are used to is not in the Lexand LPH1 Mini. The menu is remotely similar to the one used in the old Samsung devices. The clock is displayed on the lock screen. They are duplicated on the desktop after unlocking. On the top service line there is a charge indicator, there is also a cellular network signal icon.

The on-screen menu looks pretty nice. Items are displayed in a structured list. There is a division into sections. You won’t be able to choose to display application shortcuts using icons, since the manufacturer refused such a solution, preferring text. Multimedia features Lexand LPH1 Mini on entry level. The advantages include the presence of FM radio, a high-quality voice recorder application and a file manager that is very convenient to use.

It makes no sense to compare this model with smartphones, since its functionality is limited. However, it does not differ at all from the same simple “dialers”. Fans of playing this device will not like it, it has only one game "Snake" installed. But you can read e-books on it. The application for this is already built into the device. There is also a video player that supports many common formats.

Battery

The situation is also interesting with the battery for Lexand LPH1 Mini. He has metal case. It is inserted into the compartment even upside down, but you won’t be able to turn on the phone, since there is no power. Battery capacity - 400 milliamps per hour. Install more powerful element the manufacturer did not succeed in such a tiny case. Modern technologies, of course, make it possible to reduce the battery as much as possible without losing capacity, but in a device for a thousand rubles, such a solution is not practical.

For what time frame battery life can you count? According to the manufacturer, the standby time will be about 100 hours. Continuous conversation will drain the battery in 4 hours. In combined mode, the phone will easily work for three days, and if you reduce the load, then all five.

Phone Lexand LPH1 Mini. Menu instructions

When you turn on the machine for the first time, you will need to set the date. Time can be set in two formats: PM and AM. After these steps, the phone is completely ready for use. It is recommended to start interacting with him by studying the menu. It consists of the following items:

  • Contacts. Phone book presented as a list. If necessary, you can separately view the subscribers that are saved on the first SIM card and on the second. Users really liked the ability to export / import contacts.
  • Messages. This section provides access to received notifications. Here you can also write a message. There are quick response templates. The user can type his own text and create an individual template. Messages are protected by setting a password.
  • Call log. Has four sub-sections. The first shows missed calls, the second shows dialed calls, the third shows rejected calls, and the fourth shows accepted calls. There is a time counter and the ability to delete all information in one motion.
  • File Manager. An application that allows you to view all files stored both on external media and in the phone's memory.
  • Tools. It combines applications such as calculator, Bluetooth, electronic book, reminders/notes, calendar.
  • profiles. On the phone you can choose sound settings A: Vibrate only, Normal, Outdoor, No sound. The menu provides the ability to change the name of the profile, select the melody and volume, the sound when turned on, the type of signal.
  • Settings. Here the user can: activate / deactivate SIM cards, bar calls, turn on call forwarding, set the time, change the date, select a language, set up quick access buttons, and more.

In order to connect your phone to a computer, you need to take a mini-USB cable. After inserting the plugs into the connector, select the item " Removable media” and confirm the action by clicking on “OK”.

Setting up the sound on your phone is easy. To do this, you need to go to the menu. Go to "Profiles". In it, find the "Options" tab. From it, go to "Settings" → "Adjust volume". By default, the volume is set to the maximum value - 15. If necessary, it can be reduced by pressing the joystick arrows.

To set the music for the call, you need to do the following manipulations. Enter the menu. Then find the item "Multimedia". From it go to "Audio". Select the track you like and click "Set as ringtone".

Special abilities

Many users in the Lexand LPH1 Mini reviews ask about special codes. What is this about? The fact is that the developers came up with special numerical combinations, by typing which on the phone, you can do certain actions:

  • In order to find out all the information about the device, you will need to dial the code ####1111#. The screen will display data on testing color reproduction, backlight, correct operation wireless module, cameras and so on.
  • In order to reset all user settings, you need to dial a simple combination - 1234.

A smartphone, or rather a smartphone, is very comfortable in the hand. You don't have to use your second hand just to answer the phone. It's mega-light, don't drop it. The sound is good, loud, does not hold together, does not crack. It's probably a new model. I am happy with my smartphone. Because I can't get used to these fancy phones. True, the camera is rather weak, it could have been a little stronger. But for this there is an ordinary camera. I personally need a phone to make calls.

Advantages:

The smartphone is simple, not intricate, the battery holds up to four hours of talk time. There are no bells and whistles, everything is logical and understandable, you don’t have to sit for a long time and figure out where everything is. RAM is not large, but it supports a memory card up to 32 megabytes. The screen is bright, you can see everything on the street, it does not reflect or glare, although the screen is glossy. I like that it's simple.

Flaws:

I took it for ease of wearing, while I use both navigation and soap, and he reads books to me aloud, I listen to music in headphones or a bluetooth headset, well, the pictures are certainly not the highest grade, but I use a DSLR. generally satisfied, took for 3890r. this money is worth it.

    Advantages:

miniature, convenient to hold, GPS is just fire, the battery is enough for a day.

    Flaws:

The mini usb connector is definitely not convenient.

I use this model as a second smartphone (working). I am very pleased with the size of the device (you can easily put both smartphones in one trouser pocket). The device works stably, does not “bug” (the RAM copes “with a bang”), a small (at first glance) 2.45-inch screen is easily enough even for reading news on the Internet or mail. The case is glossy, so traces remain, this is its minus. Used the camera a couple of times, the quality of shooting is acceptable. In general, I am satisfied with the smartphone. Perfect as a second phone, either for a child or just for those people who miss small phones.

    Advantages:

dimensions (size, weight), cost, 3G support

    Flaws:

    Glossy plastic

The mini-smartphone is easy to manage, despite its small screen. There is enough RAM to run several applications at the same time. Built-in functions abound, the camera in natural light does good photos. I also use my smartphone as an FM player. The battery lasts for a day of active use. I was very satisfied with the value for money - perfectly working and at the same time budget model. Exactly what I needed!

    Advantages:

    Lightweight, good sensor, enough functions.

    Flaws:

battery capacity is enough for 1 day

After my daughter once again lost her phone, I bought her a LEXAND Mini LPH7 Smarty smartphone. Compact, fits well in a child's hand, takes up little space in a school backpack. The plastic is of high quality, the diagonal of 2.45 is small, but the information is clearly visible. The amount of memory, both operational and built-in, is decent for such a "baby", but I still expanded it to 32 GB. The battery is small, but still enough for a day. The camera takes pretty good pictures, especially when good light. Plays video and music, daughter loves to listen.

    Advantages:

    Lightweight, comfortable, functional.

I liked the smartphone for its lightness and pleasant unusual design. The touch screen is very easy to press, but it is sometimes difficult to hit the right letter with your thumbs. The audibility of the phone is just excellent. The presence of a dual-core processor is a huge plus, due to which the phone practically does not freeze. The amount of built-in memory is not so small, 4 GB. Plus you can use a flash drive. Even with a small battery, it can work for quite a long time. Only the quality of the camera is not very good, otherwise everything suits. This phone is an excellent option for those who want to buy an unusual smartphone at an attractive price.

    Advantages:

Small and compact size, the presence of many functions of a modern smartphone

LEXAND Mini LPH7 Smarty won me over with its appearance and compactness. Smartphone impressed me a lot! It is really very light and comfortable. Pleased and operating system, on it is the fourth android. It works fast enough, the processor is fast, the battery lasts for a day. It contains all the necessary applications and functions, there is also a camera, of course, even two at 2.0 and 0.3 megapixels. After the purchase, I immediately installed a 32GB memory card. It is convenient that the smartphone supports cards with such a volume.

    Advantages:

Design, lightweight, compact, support for memory cards up to 32GB, fast in operation.

    Flaws:

It is not convenient to type SMS in vertical orientation, you need to set the auto-rotation of the screen in the settings

Simple, light and comfortable, with all modern gadgets.

    Advantages:

An excellent model for those who need a compact phone - it does not take up much space in your pocket and does not attract attention. The processor is good for such a small phone - two cores, so fast. There is a slot for a memory card, but the phone itself has 4 gigabytes - enough for music and photos. The camera is not the strongest, but for everyday photos you don’t need more. The only thing that did not please me a little was that I had to change my SIM card to a microsim, but this is my personal nitpicking, since now all phones come out with such slots. The battery is not very capacious, but holds long enough for Android.

I was looking for a smartphone for myself mainly for calls and to be like a player, but at the same time with touch screen. The model turned out to be very light, besides the design is stylish and smart fits well in the hand. It runs on a dual-core processor, so the system runs smoothly. As well as a nice bonus - the camera, the quality of the pictures is quite tolerable! The battery charge is enough for the whole day quietly, I mostly listen to music with the backlight turned off or talk on the phone. In general, there are no complaints, the smartphone is worth its money.

    Advantages:

    Lightweight, compact, inexpensive.

For a long time I was looking for something neat on Android.
There are problems with the design, but as they say, find a better one!
    Hope it survives.

    Advantages:

Normal Android. Small size and weight. Enough loud speaker. It searches for satellites quickly and without problems (probably due to the integrated use of GPS + GloNaS). SIM card and flash drive are placed without pulling out the battery, which is very convenient. Jack 3.5 "under the ears - a very correct solution, compared to the combined miniUSB as in LPH1.

    Flaws:

    1. The battery is frankly weak and the most unpleasant thing is that it is still impossible to buy a spare one. For example - immediately for the test will put WoT Blitz, so downloading b cache via WiFi with subsequent unpacking (almost an hour) ate the charge to almost 60% + 1 fight with pre-configuration and only 51% remained. In general, it is impossible to play on it - the picture is not visible behind the fingers))).
After the "tanks" there were a couple of calls (10 minutes) and about an hour of music - the battery went to zero. But it is still "not rocked", I hope it will be a little better.
    2. Extended microUSB cable. The standard one doesn't fit. The jamb is clearly at the design stage, solved in a standard way. Since I'm not going to carry the cable with me, I'll have to "cut" everywhere. Very uncomfortable! Perhaps I will spit on the guarantee and slightly undermine the edge of the case.
    3. The design of the case is made in the form of a bar of soap, but it was worth making it look more strict, with a slight rounding - the device would look like a solid and expensive model, but otherwise it would be pop music.
    4. Remove the cover is a whole problem, it sits very hard.
    5. Power button on top! You grab and accidentally pinch. At first I set up a "hang up" on the power button, but I had to remove it and poke at the screen.
    6. It is difficult to insert a memory card - you can’t reach it with your finger - you have to use a pencil
I would like to have a bumper and a film on the screen in the kit - it's not standard anyway!

I bought this smartphone about a couple of weeks ago. At first I was surprised by the presence a large number functions in such a "baby". It is not expensive, so I decided to buy it and use it. So far, he hasn't disappointed me. The battery lasts a long time, works smartly (dual-core processor does its job). Internet access, video, music, calls: I use it without any problems, I was pleased that headphones are also included in the package. It was a plus for me too. I advise.

Compact size, dual core processor, has all the necessary functions.

Great phone. Bought and happy. Not suitable for a child - uncomfortable. I really like to carry it in my pocket and speak it. Well, plus occasionally I use the functions of a smartphone if necessary.

The advantage of this phone is its small size. Naturally, it’s easier to play and print on a laptop and everything, everything, everything, but I don’t carry a laptop with me, and I don’t want to carry a shovel phone either. In my phone, 98% of the time I use the "carry in my pocket" function and 2% of the time the "talk" function, and only 0.1% poke my fingers into it. So 99.9% of the required functions it performs super-excellent, and for the sake of 0.1% you can be patient.

This is a complete analogue of Elephone Q (with the exception of very minor changes in the software), about which there are a lot of reviews, mischief, videos and information on the Internet.

    Advantages:

SIZE (sorry for the caps, but it is SIZE in capital letters), it is miniature and fits perfectly in your pocket. Produces a WOW effect in everyone who sees it.
    Works.
The battery holds for a long time (obviously more than a day), if used as a phone.
The voice quality during a call is good, on a solid 4-ku.
A full-fledged android, even toys are possible (but not necessary).
    No pre-installed ad junk.
The camera photographs an A4 sheet and even the text is legible.

    Flaws:

The USB connector is recessed deep. Requires mini-USB cable with long plug (1mm longer than standard). Of my wires, only 1 out of 5 came up.
The supplied USB cable only works for charging, but does not connect to a computer.
There is no LED, ala flashlight.
The interface is not fully optimized for a small screen (specifically, the SMS application is annoying).
I would like a larger resolution, tk. I see pixels.
The old time zones are set (Moscow still lives in GMT + 4).

In general, the device is very decent, despite a large list of shortcomings, some of which can be solved with an update. An additional precipitate was given by the fact that I had to take it to the service - everyone was waiting for the device to "shake" the battery, but after several times, when in front of the mobile phone after a couple of hours it was cut off by 70% -80% of the charge (did not complete the work, but simply rotten) , picked up a tester and measured what was happening with the battery. And I didn’t like the picture - a full battery has 4.35V, and the most discharged one (below 20% never happened, the phone was cut down) didn’t even have 3.4V. On the "passed out" it was usually 2.8-3V. I hope the charging glitch is only with me. Moreover, there were 2 cases when the phone worked for almost 2 days.
Also, Yandex cards 3.82 almost did not allow the phone to charge, but updated to the 5th version - it began to slowly discharge. Charging in the cigarette lighter is quite powerful, it is friends with 8x64bit tablets under the same 5th version of Yandex cards.

    Advantages:

Neat size, full-fledged smart, if you do not download applications, it can last up to 2 days. Despite 512M of RAM, even heavy applications are launched.

    Flaws:

    1. Apparently, due to the screen resolution, some programs do not work, and some do not work quite correctly.
    2. Sometimes 2 cores are not enough, even in the interface it slows down, although some 3D toys simply surprise with smoothness.
    3. Not a very sensitive touch. Requires a firm touch. When working with maps, it can be annoying.
4.Recessed connector. I had to cut cables everywhere for confident charging.
    5. When importing, some of the contacts doubled up, it was ~ 700, it became 1228. How to understand - I'll never know.
    6. It is inconvenient to read SMS (Well, typing is even more so!) And there is so little space for displaying information, so they have eaten a lot of useful space with indents and other nonsense. I bought a BT keyboard, now there is more space on the screen, but still only short text messages fit entirely on the screen.
    7. No flashlight and mediocre camera, no AF. As a result, there is no macro, and for work you have to shoot a lot of barcodes and other designations, and you can’t run around warehouses with a DSLR, and it won’t fit anywhere.
    8. The power button is on the side, but you need to go up! All the time in jeans turns on.
9.One SIM card and that micro.
    10.No OTG.

In the rain, water got through the holes on the lid, dead.
I'm thinking of repairing or buying another one, instead I bought an asus at the same price with a 4.5 screen, in general it's more pleasant to use and a soft sound when talking.
The result, if you need a phone and a player in your pocket + ultra-mobile navigation, you can buy, but the speaker is not important - I started to creak when using 2 weeks.
Sounds like in Samsung (sms) its interface, I did not notice the brakes.

    Advantages:

    Size, GPS

    Flaws:

An external speaker, a battery, the screen went dead during a conversation and did not show it was impossible to hang up - I decided to turn off the button. When using the player and the gps tracker at the same time.. a voice message cut down music... (does not cut down in other phones)
It is difficult to type text, for the Internet it is suitable only for reading.

For a long time I was looking for a tiny androidid, because it was necessary to launch an arrow and hang it on the car window. I needed a small phone and here it is. This miracle is a full-fledged Adrodide with both GPS and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The keyboard is too small, but this is understandable, you can’t draw a big one on such a screen. I had to poke several times correcting the entered text. But tolerable, since I just needed to set it up once and not touch it. So as a small device for some special applications, it's just the perfect solution. And I also note the loud sound of the speaker.

    Advantages:

    Size, GPS, Android

    Flaws:

for normal use is too small to type something on the clave.

    Period of use:

    less than a month

I know the Lexand brand firsthand and for quite a long time, so when I decided to buy myself new smartphone without hesitation purchased this brand. I was looking for an inexpensive but functional model. Lexand mini LPH7 Smarty is just what I need. Its big plus is its size, the smartphone is very light, small, which is very convenient, besides it does not take up much space. It is even considered to be the most light smartphone in the world. The display is not large, only 2.45 inches, but the image is clear, you can see everything...

    Advantages:

Small in size, affordable price, supports memory cards up to 32 GB, dual-core processor, Android.

    Flaws:

  • Among the same sensory bars that flooded the market, it became difficult to notice something extraordinary and out of the box. The Mini LPH7 Smarty from LEXAND is a mini smartphone that doesn't revolutionize or innovate, but grabs attention at first sight.

Its feature is its size. The device is more like unusually large smart watch than on a phone. That's just on board with him full Android 4.4 KitKats.

Of course, first of all, this smartphone is interesting for its ergonomics, but the operating experience promised to be interesting not only for this reason. Personally, after the first look at the Mini LPH7 Smarty, I immediately wondered how familiar applications would look on such a tiny screen? Does everything work, start up, how realistic is it to use them in life?

    Equipment LEXAND Mini LPH7 Smarty

The smartphone is packed in a cardboard compact box. It is curious that on the front side of the cover LPH7 is depicted in natural size. That is, if you put a “live” device next to it, then it will exactly match the picture.

Headphones are included Charger and microUSB cable. It is better not to lose the latter, since the cord has a specific long plug. The microUSB connector in the phone is significantly recessed into the case, so not every cable will fit.

The battery is removable and also included in the box. We will talk about its capacity and autonomy later.

    Appearance and ergonomics

LEXAND Mini LPH7 Smarty - unrealistically small even for simple phone. Try to take a ruler and draw a 9x4 cm rectangle on paper. So you can roughly estimate the dimensions. It would be even better to give an example with a pocket for a lighter in jeans. The mini-smartphone fits almost completely into it without difficulty!

Case materials leave much to be desired. Because of the glossy plastic phone and strives to slip out of the hands (like soap, honestly). But the assembly is acceptable, despite the removable battery. The buttons do not wobble, nothing wobbles.

The keys under the screen are touch-sensitive (three standard for Android), there is also a microphone.

The speaker is on the back. Unfortunately, the camera does not have a flash. It's a pity, because the flash could be used as a flashlight. For such small smartphone very relevant opportunity.

    Display

Due to the size, the display size is only 2.45″. Conventional TFT, capacitive. Viewing angles are so-so. Resolution 432×240.

Such a tiny screen even for push-button telephone would be small, to say nothing of a touchscreen smartphone. But do not forget that we have a kind of unique mini-smartphone, which means you can (or should you?) adapt.

The screen perfectly fulfills the touch, the interface elements are large, the font in the settings can also be increased.

As for the set of messages, it is more or less realistic to do this only in horizontal mode. Despite decent sensitivity, hitting such small keys is only possible with a stylus. However, this is a small problem. The default is good keyboard with foresight the right words you can just select tap. And don't forget about the excellent voice input from Google.

    Operating system and specifications

Smartphone works under Android control 4.4. That is, we actually have a full-fledged mobile device on Android, which means you can install applications, work with documents, and so on. The system scales to fit this screen size. There are, however, nuances in the display, when not all the text fits in a given area, but in general it’s still not bad.

In many ways, this is also the merit of a perfectly adapted shell. The phone can be used right out of the box. You don’t have to look for special software or set up work.

On the specifications LEXAND Mini LPH7 Smarty can't be looked at without sadness. However, this is the case with almost everyone. budget options smartphones. The dual-core MediaTek MT6572, coupled with the Mali-400 MP video processor, is not the best worst case, but everything spoils the quantity random access memory. Only 512 MB. Catastrophically small, both on paper and in practice. Applications almost do not “hang” in the background, and among the pre-installed programs there is Clean Master, which, in my opinion, only slows down the work even more. I turned it off. There is still a separate utility to free memory.

I am glad that the interface works smoothly and does not slow down. If you do not load your smartphone with serious programs and refuse to multitask, then it will cope with most of the tasks of an ordinary user.

The built-in memory in the smartphone is 4 GB, but you can install a card microSD memory up to 32 GB.

    Connection

Since the LEXAND Mini LPH7 Smarty is still a smartphone, it simply could not lack modern interfaces. There is Wi-Fi 802.11g, and Bluetooth 4.0, and 3G, and even GPS. There was no place only for LTE.

The smartphone catches the mobile network perfectly. You won't be left without the Internet. Only one SIM card micro sim. It's a pity, but in such a case, apparently, the second slot simply would not fit.

    Camera and multimedia

2 megapixel camera is installed solely for show. There is no quality to speak of. And it's probably stupid to expect more from such a device. Lighting plays a decisive role. In good light, you can get a decent picture. It is worth adding the presence of a front camera in the pros. You will not be deprived of video calls.

I was pleasantly surprised by the multimedia part. In addition to an excellent volume reserve, the smartphone can be used as a player. There are two connections to choose from: 3.5mm and Bluetooth. There is an FM radio.

    autonomy

In fact, main problem during operation, LEXAND Mini LPH7 Smarty became not even a size, but a battery, which is definitely not enough for active work. Only 650 mAh, very small.

However, you are unlikely to use such a smartphone “to its fullest”, but for calls and periodic checks of the bus in Yandex.Transport yes music player enough for a day.

In standby mode, unfortunately, the battery also melts before our eyes. Even if the phone is not used, after three or four days it will still have to be put on charge.

    conclusions

Lexand Mini LPH7 Smarty is a very unusual tiny smartphone that reversed the trend of smartphones in size: instead of a spade-shaped 5.5-6 inches, an incredible 2.5″. Few people dare to buy it as the main phone, but it will play the role of an additional, spare dialer on the pickup with a bang. As a bonus, it will help you get online if something happens. Small, discreet, does not interfere at all in a pocket or bag. Due to its size, you will hardly feel it.

You can think of many use cases. For example, dot WiFi access, why not? Or a DVR (for this purpose, a 2 megapixel camera may be enough). Like an advanced 32 GB flash drive on Android - nothing too. Sports tracker (there is a built-in Pedometer application) or an mp3 player.

In LEXAND Mini LPH7 Smarty, only autonomy let us down. But such a mini-smartphone still has no competitors. So if you want a unique phone with the features of a full-fledged smartphone, the choice is obvious.

    Pros:

    • full Android 4.4 KitKat
    • two cameras
    • the presence of a slot for a memory card
    • good sound
    • manufacturer support (updates coming)

    Minuses:

    • glossy case
    • recessed microUSB connector
    • low autonomy

    Prices in online stores

It is possible to display similar models if this one is not in the catalog for your region.

We often complain that the sizes mobile devices grow following the diagonal of their displays. And that a compact smartphone with adequate characteristics on sale is becoming increasingly difficult to meet. And the very concept of compactness is blurred. Today, the prefix "mini" in the name is already received by models with a diagonal of 5.0 "and even 5.2" displays (as an example).

In our mobile guide (which, by the way, is planned to be updated soon), we carefully chose the most interesting smartphones based on the width of the hull. The account there went to millimeters, and sometimes to tenths of them. Here 68.7 mm, and here 66.6 mm with the same diagonal of the screen - that's what a compact device! And it's true, in today's times - very much so.

    advertising

But what if the smartphone is not two millimeters, but another two centimeters narrower? Yes, you heard right. It is this solution that was recently released by a domestic manufacturer. He mainly specializes in branding car navigators. But occasionally pleases us with other mobile devices.

And recently, users were introduced to a new product - the LEXAND Mini LPH7 Smarty smartphone. This is nothing less than the most compact android-smartphone on the market with dimensions of 43 x 90 x 12 mm.

Although what kind of compound names? LEXAND Micro would be called something, it would be better.

    advertising

It is clear that such a decision could hardly do without compromises. But in itself, the ability to launch WhatsApp, see YouTube video or loading a page in mobile Chrome without any problems on a device of this size, which can also call, will sound interesting to many. Surely some users are already so tired of the huge "shovels" that they are ready to go to the other extreme. The question, as always, is implementation. And if LEXAND turned out to be a really convenient device without a lot of serious compromises, then it will be a success.

And how it ended up - it turns out by the results of the test.
