NTV-Plus 2018 transponders for HD channels
It is also worth highlighting NTV-Plus 2018 transponders for HD channels. For those people who want to watch TV highest quality, the following devices are offered:
- NTV Plus HD format with a frequency of 11823 R. This set includes the following channels: Our Football HD, MTV Live HD, Nickelodeon HD, Match! Football ½/3 HD.
- NTV Plus format HD 11930 R. This includes TV 1000 Comedy HD, Viasat Sport East HD, FOX Russia HD, Viasat Sports HD, Viasat Nature/History HD.
- NTV Plus HD format frequency 12207 R. It includes such channels as Amedia Premium HD, History Russia HD, Eurosport 1 HD, TLC Russia HD.
- NTV Plus HD format frequency 12399 R. This includes Cinema Premiere HD, Discovery Channel Russia HD, KHL TV HD.
There are TV models that are equipped with a built-in receiver. Their advantages can hardly be overestimated. Firstly, there is no need to purchase a receiver. Secondly, no need to use HDMI-HDMI cable. Thirdly, you can switch channels and use other functions using the television remote control.
The only caveat is for viewing satellite channels of paid operators communication, the digital tuner must support the DVB-S2 standard.
Of course, you can’t do without a correctly configured satellite dish.. Most TV models can easily scan TV channels in any mode. They can provide signal reception from 4 satellites. But even after correct settings antenna, the familiar “Scrambled Channel” message will appear on the TV screen. In order to fully view TV channels of any company, you need a decoding device, that is, an access card.
How to set up a Samsung TV to receive satellite TV
1. We don't need the factory settings, so we reset them. Let's go in the menu, select the “Support” section, go to “Self-diagnosis”, click on “Reset” and confirm the selection with the OK button.
2. After the reboot, we go back to the menu. Here it is necessary select the “Channel” section, go to “Antenna” and then “Satellite”. Select “System” and enter the password (on all TV models from any manufacturer it is 0000). It is necessary to unmark each satellite (if this cannot be done, remove the CAM module from the slot and reset the TV again).
3. IN select satellite EutelsatW4 36E, transponder 12130 R, lower gen. LNB - 0, upper - 10750. Click “Manual settings”, transponder 12130 R, click on “Network search” and confirm the selection. When the channel search process is completed, save what was found. If you wish, you can sort the TV channels.
4. If there is no EutelsatW4 36E satellite, we proceed as follows. Set the selection to “User sat 1”. Next, create your own satellite and save it. Please note that “LNB power” should not be turned off.
Go to LNB and select the following characteristics:
DISEqC - off, lower gen. LNB - 10750, Upper gen. LNB - 10750Tone 22 KHz. - Auto.
Next, go to the “Settings” section, from there – to “Manual setup”, and begin scanning the newly identified satellite. We leave the “Transponders” section blank. Select “Create”. It is necessary to enter transponder frequencies, flow rates, and polarization types for all TV channel packages.
5. When the network name appears on the device screen (in our case, “”), you must click on “Search” and confirm your choice by clicking the “OK” button. The procedure is repeated again and again for each individual transponder.
How to set up LG TVs to receive satellite TV
1. We connect the antenna cable to the connector on the “SATTELITE” device. Insert the DVB-CI+ CAM module. Please note that the numbers on the module must be on your side. Take the remote control and press “SETTINGS”. You will automatically be taken to the main menu. From here you need to go to the “Channels” item. Click "OK".
2. A window will pop up in front of you. Select “Program mode” and confirm with the “OK” button. A list will appear in front of you. You need to check the box next to “Satellite”, select “OK” and press “OK” on the remote control.
3. We don’t need automatic search for TV channels, so we refuse it. In the “Channels” window, select “Satellite Settings” and confirm the choice.
4. After opening the window, go to the “Satellite” field. A list of satellites will appear in front of you. Stop the selection at “EUTELSAT 36 A/B 36.0 E”, click OK.

1. How to manually tune a TV with a built-in satellite receiver to the NTV Plus or Tricolor TV satellite?

We have now selected a transponder with a frequency of 12130 MHz, right circular polarization.
Next, we monitor the signal level and quality scales. If everything is installed correctly, then they should be more than 70%.
Turn on the "Network Search" option! Then the TV will automatically, based on information from one transponder we installed, find all the others and only from the operator "NTV Plus" (and not another ~250 channels of unnecessary "garbage" from Tricolor TV and so on, which happens in automatic search mode).
Some TVs do not have a network search mode. Then you will have to manually scan each transponder from the list (referred to above) separately.
As a result, we see that the TV found all 17 transponders of the NTV Plus operator.
Click "Finish", exit the settings menu and watch the channels we need if you have a CI+ module with activated card access.

Sometimes it happens that the service in question is blocked by the tuner or TV itself, and to open access you just need to remove the access card and insert it back;
- Next, you need to configure the transponder. Here are the settings: 12130 R and Lnb levels (low = 0; high = 10750).
When the entire procedure is completed, you can move on to the final stage: Select the transponder and set the “Network Search” command. Afterwards you have to wait, because the setup takes a long time. But if all the changes were correct, then in half an hour you will have all your paid TV channels working.
Setting up NTV Plus Vostok channels
The NTV Plus television company is one of the most popular in Russia, but in the eastern part of the country there were interruptions in broadcasting, which were resolved with the help of a new package and the Express-AT1 satellite. The change took place in 2014, so in 2017 users have been able to enjoy excellent broadcasting of popular channels and more for several years.
If for some reason your equipment does not want to receive the signal coming from this satellite, you can manually search for TV channels after entering the settings. This is not so difficult, since reconfiguration can be done manually. Soon television will start working in standard mode, delighting viewers with a full package of TV channels.
So, to gain access to the package, you need to check the satellite settings, and if they are not there, then first enter this satellite, and then fill in the broadcast parameters. The instructions on how to set up channels are simple:
- Open the receiver settings via the remote control remote control and the “MENU” button;
- Turn on the search for NTV channels;
- Go to “Settings” - “Installation” - “Password” - “Search Mode” - “Enable”;
- Enter the transponder parameters: frequency – 12475; polarization – left; transmission speed – 27500; broadcasting – DVB-S2; modulation – 8PSK; FEC: 5/6;

Setting up LG and Samsung TV

The setup for LG looks similar, so you can figure it out easily.
Everyone chooses their own method of receiving channels in digital quality, this is what I proceeded from when choosing:.
Terrestrial digital television did not suit me, due to large quantity channels.
Cable television - everything is more complicated here, the operator that provides television via coaxial cable without using coding (no set-top boxes are needed) does not serve my home, and the operators that provide television through the set-top box did not suit me either, since I had to pay subscription fee for connecting one TV 300 rubles or more, in my opinion expensive. Based on this, I chose satellite television. The disadvantage of this method is that to use it you must initially have an amount of about 10 thousand rubles. for the purchase of equipment. The television signal is broadcast from a geostationary satellite hovering above the Earth. If you go a little deeper, the satellite rotates in the plane of the earth's equator at an altitude of approximately 35,000 km above the earth's surface. The period of revolution in this orbit is one day. That is, a satellite moving in a geostationary orbit does not change its position relative to the Earth’s surface (it constantly “hangs” above the same point of the equator).

A converter is a receiving device that is mounted at the focus of a signal reflected from a satellite dish and converts this signal into an electrical signal, after which it transmits it to the receiver.
A receiver is a device that converts the signal coming from the converter into an “understandable” signal for the TV. The receiver connects to the TV using HDMI interface, SCART, "tulip", etc. depends on the model of the receiver and the connectors on the TV.

Installation of NTV+ dish
So, let's move from theory to practice. Below I will describe how I installed and configured NTV+ (for those who set up Tricolor, the connection diagram will be similar).
I climbed onto the roof of my house and saw the following picture - two satellite dishes hanging, there was a place left just for mine.
If you pay attention, one dish is used for Tricolor (judging by the inscription on the plate, although this may not be the case), this is good, since Tricolor and NTV+ broadcast from the same satellite, which means they are directed to the same point in the sky, adjust the direction accordingly antennas will be easier, since the sample will be nearby. When installing a satellite dish, you can also look around, since most people use either Tricolor or NTV+, accordingly you will understand in which direction you need to turn the antenna. If there are no dishes nearby, turn the dish to the south (since the satellite “hangs” on the equator), it should be noted that there should not be any trees or buildings on the path between the satellite and the direction of the dish, since they will not allow the signal to reach the dish.
The first step is to fasten the antenna bracket using anchor bolts (usually they come with the antenna). To do this, attach the bracket to the wall, mark the places where you need to drill holes, and use a drill to make holes with a depth and a radius the size of an anchor bolt. Then insert the bolts there.
Then attach the bracket to the wall and screw it.
As a result of all actions, check that the bracket is firmly secured and does not wobble.
After this, assemble the plate and attach it to the bracket.
Next, you need to run a coaxial cable from the receiver (where the TV will be) to the satellite dish converter. If the cable exceeds 10 meters, you can buy a high-quality 75 Ohm coaxial cable of the required length.
After that, use an HDMI, SCART or tulip cable to connect the receiver to the TV. Then turn on the receiver, select AV mode (corresponding interface) on the TV. You will see the receiver menu, select the satellite in the settings (let me remind you, for NTV+ and Tricolor it will be the same satellite), for the European zone it will be EUTELSAT W4/ W7 or EUTELSAT 36A/ 36B (they have been renamed).
The next step is to set the dish strictly to the satellite. What not to use additional devices helping to set up channels, which cost quite a bit of money (and there is no need if you want to set up one satellite dish for yourself), you will need an assistant who will monitor the signal level, while you turn the dish. You can use a cell phone for communication.
You should rotate the plate millimeter by millimeter in order to catch a good signal. The antenna rotates not only horizontally, but also vertically, do not forget about this.
In the end, I set up an NTV+ dish (I decided prematurely).
I managed to achieve a signal of more than 70 percent; it was cloudy, so perhaps the result was no better. Coming down after setting up the antenna, I quickly tuned in the channels using auto search and was quite pleased. BUT, when I turned on the HD channel, an information sign “No signal” appeared in front of me.
How so?! All channels work normally, but all HDs write “No signal”.
Call to service technical support did not bring any results. I decided to spin the plate some more to achieve at least some signal level (as you can see in the picture below, the signal level of HD channels is 0%). To do this, in the menu I selected List TP - 11823/27500/V (it is responsible for some of the HD channels).
I climbed onto the roof and again began to slowly turn the antenna; my assistant remained near the TV and told me the signal level. After literally 10-15 minutes I managed to set up the HD channels; they showed a signal level of about 73%. Having gone down, I could already see the channels in HD quality, the other channels were also excellent.
The bottom line of this whole story is, don’t believe people who say that only specialists with special equipment can install and configure satellite television. Almost anyone can do this!!!
An excellent choice for sports and movie fans. But the operation of television without failures and interference can be ensured with proper assembly, installation and configuration of the dish. First, make sure that the requirements necessary for the correct operation of the system are met:
- Visibility to the south from a window, balcony or roof.
- Open horizon without interference at window level (trees, high-rise buildings).
NTV Plus channels are broadcast from the Eutelsat W4/Express AMU 1 satellite, located at 36 degrees east longitude. The satellite covers the main part of the territory of the Russian Federation. To receive channels you will need the following equipment:

The minimum size of the plate for reception is 55-60cm. By increasing the size to 80-90cm, we get a stable and stable signal, which will not be affected by weather conditions in the form of rain, snowfall, cloudiness. The NTV+ system uses circular polarization converters. There should be a circular or “Circular” mark on the body of the irradiator. The number of outputs in the irradiator corresponds to the number of connected receivers.
Let's proceed to the procedure for installing and configuring NTV Plus channels, which consists of the following steps:
Stage 1: Checking the signal
You can set up an NTV Plus satellite dish only if there is a signal. You can navigate by the sun: around 13:00 its direction corresponds to the position of the satellite, by the dishes on neighboring houses. There are also maps on the Internet, like DISHPOINTER, which will help you check the possibility of satellite reception. Working with it is quite simple: enter the exact address of the house, select the name of the Eutelsat W4/Express AMU1 satellite. A colored beam will show the direction. If the beam is red, that is, reception from the window is not possible, then the system is installed on the roof. The connection will cost more, since cable costs will increase, but the result obtained is worth the effort.
Only a specialist visit and measuring the signal using a spectrum analyzer will give an accurate guarantee of the availability of satellite reception! The cost of these works is 1000 ₽.
How does a satellite TV set work? The antenna plays the role of a lens that receives the signal and transmits it to the converter. The converter amplifies reception and transmits the signal to the set-top box.
Stage 2. Installation of equipment
We assemble the satellite dish according to the instructions. A drill with a hammer drill for drilling brick and concrete surfaces will make the process easier. The bracket can be secured using anchors with a diameter of 8mm or 10mm or a 14mm dowel with a capercaillie. All connections are made using coaxial cable and F connectors. The cable is stripped (see photo) and the connector is put on it. Connectors come in screw-on and crimp-on types. The most common ones are for cheating. Crimp connectors are more reliable and have a longer service life, but their installation will require crimping pliers.

Stage 3. Setting up a satellite dish
We carry out the work using an attachment. In the second case, it is recommended to configure the set-top box in advance, for example, when purchasing a set in a store, or from friends where NTV Plus already works. You can configure programs in manual or automatic search. In the set-top box recommended by the operator, all settings are already included in the menu; you only need to select auto mode, the receiver will do everything on its own. In manual search, enter the parameters:
- Eultesat W4/Express AMU1 satellite.
- Converter settings: upper/lower local oscillator frequency 10750 MHz.
- To search we use a transponder: 11785 R, flow rate 27500, error correction 3/4.
- 22KHz must be enabled to supply power to the converter.
- We activate the network search function to search the entire list of channels.
The channels are configured, go to the "Search for channels" menu. Two scales will appear on the screen: reception level and quality. For the satellite to operate, it will be necessary to fill two scales by at least 70%. We carry out the operation of setting up the antenna in clear, calm weather, if possible at noon, when the sun can be used as an additional reference point.
Procedure for tuning NTV Plus to satellite
- We direct the dish to the satellite’s receiving sector (we focus on the sun and neighbors’ antennas).
- We expose the antenna vertically (for Moscow/Moscow region), up to the maximum.
- We begin to slowly rotate the antenna by 1-2mm, wait a couple of seconds, look at the signal scales on the screen; repeat the procedure until the scales begin to fill.
- When the scales begin to fill, we proceed to the fine-tuning procedure until we achieve 70% filling.
- Fix firmly and tighten the bolts.
- We carry out all the work slowly, since the receiver reacts late, and you may miss the moment.

According to this manual, I will say one thing, the module must be inserted into the TV that is turned off!!! Yes, we will take transponder frequencies from here from the signs, depending on the “West” or “East” zones.
But problems may arise here. The TV will not “see your CI+ CAM module” i.e. the CI+ CAM conditional access module will not be identified. Samsung Electronis support has a very valuable recommendation for this, here it is:
To identify the card, try the following:
1. Disconnect from TV antenna cable and the CAM module when the TV is turned off.
2. Turn on the TV to TV signal source.
3. In the TV menu, set the automatic time (Menu-System-Time-Clock-Clock Mode-Auto)
4. Press Mute -> 2 -> 4 -> 7 -> Exit on the remote control. (Press quite quickly, I did it about 5 times, a blue sign will appear with the inscription “CIPLUS Storage Test”)
5. When the message “CIPLUS Storage Test” appears on the screen, connect the CAM module and wait for it to be identified. (Yes, I’ll add on my own behalf, we connect the CAM module to a switched off TV! I don’t know why Samsung Electronis support didn’t write this clearly).
We turn on the TV in TV mode and I don’t know how long it will take you, after 3-5 minutes I got a message about identifying the CAM module.
How do you know that everything went well? In TV mode, go to menu-system-general interface. The "general interface" tab must be active! You can go to this tab and see for general development what is there!
But sometimes, the above instructions are not necessary! We inserted a CI+ CAM module into the switched off TV, turned on the TV, and almost immediately the CI+ CAM module began to be detected. But if “dancing with tambourines” has begun, then follow the above instructions!
So we installed the CAM module, now it’s time to configure it satellite channels! Let's start by going to the menu-channel-antenna - selecting the value "satellite".
In the menu that appears, go to the “Select satellite” tab.
Uncheck all satellites that are installed by default. We go down to the end of the list and select “USER sat1”, this will be our satellite to which we will configure everything.
"LNB Power" - leave the "On" checkbox

Time has passed, a lot of letters came to my mail, people shared their experiences of how they succeeded with setting up NTV+.
Kirill Sysoev described in particular detail how he managed to set up NTV+ on his Samsung TV UE40ES6540S.
The only thing he did was set up NTV+Zapad, but this does not change anything except the transponder settings.
Therefore, I am editing his article completely as is, because his “process” of setting up went a little differently.
And this will certainly be useful for those. for whom my method did not work.
I had to suffer a lot before everything worked as it should. Unfortunately, I found most of the information on third-party sites and forums; somehow I couldn’t find complete information here. To fix this I am sharing with you. So.
Where does it all begin? You must register an agreement with NTV. Dealers do this (as far as I know), I did it on the NTV website. Fill out everything carefully. In your personal account it should be written: CONNECTED!
Afterwards you can install the module into the TV. When you insert the module into the Samsung (hereinafter referred to as the TV), it will have to see it (initialize it), otherwise nothing will work. Here is the first pitfall. In case this does not happen, Samsung support has a recommendation: To identify the card, try the following: 1. Disconnect the antenna cable from the TV (I succeeded without it) and the CAM module with the TV turned off. 2. Turn on the TV to TV signal source. 3. In the TV menu, set the automatic time (Menu-System-Time-Clock-Clock Mode-Auto) 4. Press Mute on the remote control -> 2 -> 4 -> 7 -> Exit. (press quickly), a blue sign with the inscription “CIPLUS Storage Test” will appear) 5. When the message “CIPLUS Storage Test” appears on the screen, connect the CAM module and wait for it to be identified. (I connected the CAM module to the TV turned on (it didn’t work any other way), although most people recommend it to be turned off). It won't be long before a message about identifying the CAM module appears. How do you know that everything went well? In TV mode, go to menu-system-general interface. The "general interface" tab must be active! Turn off the TV and insert the NTV card into the module. Turns on the TV, it should see the module (may not be right away)!
So, we have installed the CAM module, now it’s time to set up satellite channels! Go to the menu-channel-antenna - select the value “satellite”. Next in this section (menu-channel-satellite system), go down below and go to the “Satellite system” menu, enter the password “0000”. In the menu that appears, go to the “Select satellite” tab. Uncheck all satellites that are installed by default. We go down to the end of the list and select “USER sat1”, this will be our satellite to which we will configure everything. “LNB Power” - leave the “On” checkbox Go to the “LNB Settings” tab and change “Lower LNB Gen” and “Upper LNB Gen” in these tabs to the value 10750. In “DiSEqC Mode” set ¾. Exit and go to the “Manual Configuration” tab. Here we select our satellite “USER sat1” that appears and click the “Scan” tab. Click on the "Transponder" tab and enter the frequency and speed (27500) from the table that is presented at the link http://www.lyngsat.com/Eutelsat-36A-36B.html. We find NTV Plus in the table and enter the data from the table. For NTV+Zapod it will be: Frequency 11785 speed (27500) next to the numbers (11785) the letter “R” means “Right”. Accordingly, “L” - “Left” is the polarity. We will sequentially add all this to this tab. We will register the polarity according to the letters “Vertical/Right (V/R)”. Next, click “Save” and “Search”. The found channels appear. This procedure will need to be repeated by entering data from the table until you find all NTV + West channels. The TV will save all found channels.
Another way to find channels is automatic search. To do this, you will first need to select the “EutelsatW4/W7 36E” satellite. The first option found all NTV channels for me, unlike the second.

An example of tuning an LG TV to NTV-PLUS TV channels
Let's try to figure out how to properly configure an LG TV to NTV-PLUS channels to use the NTV-PLUS CI+ CAM module.
The principle of setting up all TVs from this manufacturer is approximately the same. Depending on the software version and model, the names of menu items may differ, but the essence is the same.
First, we switch the TV to reception mode from a satellite dish. Call up the list of channels on the screen using the LIST button
Select the “Satellite” mode, go to and click on OK, 
To configure, press the SETTING (MENU) button and go to the CHANNELS section
Next, go to the menu item “Satellite Settings” 
We check that all settings are the same as in the photo above.
On the left you see two scales - you can use them to check the signal quality, and if you do not have an antenna configured, set the antenna to the NTV-PLUS signal from the satellite
Next, there are two configuration options:
- for those TV models that have auto tuning for NTV-plus
- for those models where there is no auto-tuning for NTV-plus
Option #1
From setting up channels, return to the previous menu (using the BACK button) and go to the AUTO SEARCH section. Select the “Satellite” mode and move on.
We choose the operator NTV-PLUS. If you do not have NTV-Plus in the list or your TV does not offer to choose an operator at all, then it is better to use Option No. 2 to set up channels. Below in the “Satellite Settings” window just click OK
Here the search mode d.b. “Quick search” is checked and click “OK” 
Click OK on “Run”
We wait for the search results, click “Close”, exit the menu completely with the EXIT button
To display a list of found channels, press the LIST button
With this search option, your TV automatically divides all channels into topics. The name of the current topic is indicated at the top of the list and can be changed by pressing the blue button on the remote control:

Go to the “Manual Search” section. We check that all the settings are as in the photo below, and that the “Search for network” item is checked. Then go to “Add” and click OK

Click OK on “Close” and exit the menu.
To display the list of channels on the screen, press the LIST button. All channels will be configured in one list.
