How to transfer a website from Joomla to WordPress?

Therefore, it is not surprising if you suddenly want to transfer a resource created using Joomla to this platform. This is quite easy to do. How to migrate a site from Joomla to Wordpress?

First of all, install the Joomla plugin on your website. To do this, you should go to your WordPress dashboard, find the Plugins tab, and click Add New.

You will now be faced with a list of the most popular extensions - ignore them for now as it is not advisable to install anything else before you have transferred your Joomla content. On the right side of the page you will find a search bar. Enter FG Joomla to WordPress Premium and start searching.

Unless you made a lot of typos when typing your name into the search bar, the plugin you're looking for should appear first among the results. You may also notice that there are several other extensions that can perform the same task, but you shouldn't pay attention to them.

Click on the FG Joomla option on WordPress and a window will appear with additional information regarding the plugin. Click "Install Now". On the next page you will see a few short lines describing the process of installing a new extension. Feel free to skip them and click “Activate Plugin” to move on.

After this, you will see a list of plugins that should now only contain FG Joomla in WordPress. To proceed with the site copying process, you will need to return to Joomla to obtain important information.
